Chapter 198: The Creepy Uncle Who Tricks Little Girls
Soon, that colorful vine stretched to Zhao Hai’s front, and at the end of the vine, a bud formed. This bud slowly grew larger until it reached about half a meter in length, before finally stopping. Then, the bud began to bloom slowly.
The flower that blossomed from this bud was not multi-colored, but a single color. Just as Zhao Hai was staring at the red petals, he discovered there were additional layers of petals inside, and this time, the color of the petals was yellow.
As layers of petals gradually opened up, it wasn't until the seventh layer that it finally came to an end. Before Zhao Hai, a seven-layered colorful flower appeared, resembling a rainbow that suddenly manifested before him.
In the center of the flower, there was a colorful pupa, which was not very large, only the size of Zhao Hai's thumb, and it was quite beautiful.
While Zhao Hai was dazedly staring at the pupa, it suddenly began to move. The pupa wriggled like a worm a couple of times, then with a swish, it split open, transforming into two wing-like structures resembling butterfly wings, each adorned with vibrant colors.
As Zhao Hai was still in disbelief, the wings flapped twice and slowly took flight. Then, with a twist, a tiny person the size of a thumb appeared in front of Zhao Hai.
This little person wore a dress made of colorful vines and had long, colorful hair that flowed down to her heels. Her skin was white, and her little arms and legs were exposed, looking irresistibly cute.
The little person flew to a level with Zhao Hai’s eyes, blinking a pair of large eyes, curiously gazing at Zhao Hai. Zhao Hai noticed that her pupils were also multi-colored.
The little person looked at Zhao Hai, and he looked back at her. They exchanged glances without saying a word. After a while, the little person smiled and said in a sweet voice, “Are you planning to just stare at me without saying anything?”
Zhao Hai was taken aback, coming back to his senses. He hurriedly stood up and said to the little person, “Hello, my name is Zhao Hai, and you are?”
The little person looked at Zhao Hai and performed a very lady-like noble greeting, saying, “Hello, my name is Cai'er.”
Zhao Hai quickly returned the greeting and asked Cai'er, “Hello, Cai'er, are you the flower?”
Cai'er smiled and replied, “To be precise, the flower you see is just a branch of me. My main body is not here.”
Zhao Hai was taken aback, saying, “You mean such a large flower is just a branch of yours? Then where is your main body?”
Cai'er smiled and said, “Isn't it right in front of you? To be honest, I am the true main body; the flower you see exists because of me.”
Zhao Hai stared blankly at Cai'er, asking, “Where exactly do you come from?”
Cai'er smiled and said, “Please take a seat, and I will tell you slowly. To be honest, it has been a long time since I found someone who would listen to me.”
Zhao Hai sat down in a daze, looking at Cai'er. She smiled slightly and sat on a vine table in front of Zhao Hai. On the vine table, a smaller vine table and a little chair appeared, and a tiny cup appeared in front of her, which looked like it could barely hold a drop of water.
Cai'er took a sip from the cup. Her chair and the little table were quite strange; both had long legs, allowing her to be at eye level with Zhao Hai.
Seeing Cai'er’s appearance, Zhao Hai couldn’t help but smile wryly. It seemed this little woman was quite particular and insisted on sitting at the same height as his eyes to speak.
Zhao Hai observed Cai'er as she took several sips from the tiny cup, then set it down to look at him without saying a word. Zhao Hai felt like this little woman was playing with him.
As Zhao Hai was feeling amused, Cai'er finally spoke, “My real name is Hell Rainbow Flower. The place I come from is called Hell, and I am the most respected being there.”
Zhao Hai was taken aback, looking at Cai'er in confusion. It wasn’t that he had never heard of Hell; he simply didn’t quite understand Cai'er’s words. He had heard of Hell back on Earth, but he hadn’t encountered any mention of it in the Ark Continent.
