Chapter 197: Wine

The flying eagle circled slowly above the city, while Zhao Hai's eyes were fixed on a vine, determined to find the main stem of the Seven-Colored Flower using this method.

Galen and the others understood Zhao Hai's intentions, all of them staring intently at the screen. Zhao Wen was currently lying on Zhao Hai's head, equally focused on the screen.

Perhaps due to the spatial connection, Zhao Wen felt closer to Zhao Hai. During their downtime, she would often rest on Zhao Hai's head, treating it like her home.

Zhao Hai didn't mind; Zhao Wen was light and her character was more childlike. Zhao Hai enjoyed this, so he had no reason to shoo her away.

Everyone was glued to the screen when suddenly a massive black dot appeared, almost consuming the entire display. Zhao Hai instinctively shouted, "Found it." Galen and the others sighed in relief.

Zhao Hai immediately instructed the flying eagle to circle above the black dot. He zoomed in on the screen, preparing to say that it wasn't just a black dot, but rather a black hole that appeared to be approximately a hundred meters in diameter.

Inside this hole, a large Seven-Colored Flower had grown. This was the thickest one Zhao Hai and the others had ever seen, with a trunk nearly as thick as the hole itself. However, strangely, this Seven-Colored Flower was not very tall, only about twenty meters high. Among the other branches, it looked quite short. If one didn't examine the screen closely, it would be hard to notice.

Zhao Hai commanded the flying eagle to descend, getting closer to the hole. He wanted to test whether the Seven-Colored Flower would attack them.

There was no reaction at all. The Seven-Colored Flower remained passive, just like ordinary plants, its petals open while its branches stayed still.

Zhao Hai and the others were surprised by the flower's lack of response. Not willing to give up, Zhao Hai directed the flying eagle to descend further. However, he didn't instruct the eagle to attack the flower; he feared that if it did, the Seven-Colored Flower might retaliate. If they provoked it, they could be in for trouble since they were in its territory.

After a while, seeing that the Seven-Colored Flower showed no reaction, Zhao Hai finally exhaled and said, "Grandpa Galen, I think I should go out and take a look."

Galen glanced at Zhao Hai and nodded. "It's a good idea for the young master to go take a look. That flower seems to have no reaction to those with lower strength. Since you have no magic power or fighting spirit, it shouldn't attack you."

Zhao Hai nodded and looked at the others. "Although the flower has a strong attack power, its aggressiveness isn't high. It's best we don't disturb it. You all stay in the spatial area and wait for me. Awen, come down quickly; once you're out, the flower might attack."

Zhao Wen, who was lying on Zhao Hai's head, complied and hopped down.

Zhao Hai glanced at everyone with a slight smile. "As Grandpa Galen said, the flora here seems to feel close to me because of the spatial presence. Today, I just want to see if this flower likes being close to me."

Galen and the others chuckled lightly.

To be honest, this time Galen and the others weren't overly worried. As Zhao Hai mentioned, although the flower's attack power was strong, it didn't seem very aggressive, embodying the idea of 'not provoking others if not provoked'. This made Zhao Hai feel safer.

Seeing that no one objected, Zhao Hai turned and stepped outside the villa, calling back the flying eagle and the Evil Spirit Staff before he quickly exited the spatial area.

Zhao Hai appeared not far from the hole, landing on a vine that was over twenty meters thick—perfectly stable to stand on.

When Zhao Hai appeared on the vine, he was very cautious, ready to retreat back to the spatial area at any moment. However, just as they suspected, the flower did not attack them; it seemed completely unaware of Zhao Hai's presence.

Zhao Hai took a few steps on the vine and even jumped, but there was still no reaction from the flower. He felt like a bird standing on a tree; no matter how he jumped, the tree remained sturdy.
