CHAPTER 211: The Truth
Hong Wuliang sat there, watching Wei Wuyan leave without looking back. He opened his mouth, wanting to say something, but ultimately remained silent.
Chu Yang and Zixie Qing stood to the side, quietly observing everything. Chu Yang looked thoughtful as he gazed in the direction Wei Wuyan had left, his expression somewhat complex.
He asked himself, if he were in Wei Wuyan's position today, would he kill? After thinking for a long time and weighing his options, he ultimately decided: not to kill!
Not today!
Killing today would be ungrateful; killing tomorrow would be seeking justice! After all, people have feelings, and transitioning from good to bad requires a process of acceptance.
For Wei Wuyan, today's event was too abrupt!
Zixie Qing's face was filled with murderous intent.
"Let him go," Chu Yang said calmly. "Do not kill him. Now, Wei Wuyan has only one goal left in his life: to personally kill Hong Wuliang. If you kill Hong Wuliang now, Wei Wuyan won't be able to live on."
Zixie Qing gritted her teeth and said, "That old dog is getting off too easily!"
She angrily added, "Why would Wei Wuyan let him go? It's simply... simply infuriating!"
Chu Yang remained silent for a long time and said, "I understand Wei Wuyan's thoughts. Hong Wuliang has always had great kindness towards him! By not killing him now and giving him a way out, Wei Wuyan is returning everything Hong Wuliang had granted him. Acting later would then be a justified revenge!"
Zixie Qing scoffed coldly, "The emotions of you humans are truly incomprehensible!"
Chu Yang turned to her abruptly, "You humans?"
Zixie Qing's gaze flickered, and she replied casually, "I meant, you humans!"
Chu Yang laughed heartily, "We humans... what you said is quite strange."
But in his heart, he thought: you humans? Are you not human?
"Even though I'm letting him go, I can't just let him leave like this!" Chu Yang turned and walked towards Hong Wuliang.
Hong Wuliang panicked and asked, "What... what are you going to do?"
Chu Yang raised his hand and slapped him hard, the sound echoing sharply: "Haven't you been slapped before?" With a swift backhand, he struck again, "You selfish, vile creature!"
He extended his foot and kicked him down, "You only need to keep one life!"
Then he stomped down hard on Hong Wuliang's groin, coldly saying, "This kick is for your wife! That poor woman has been harmed by you for a lifetime!"
Hong Wuliang screamed in agony, his body convulsing, his eyes rolling back. He had been sealed and was now like an ordinary person; with Chu Yang's kick, his groin was crushed! Even though he had supreme cultivation level, he was powerless against the strength of the Nine Calamity Sword.
"You are... vicious!" Hong Wuliang cried out in pain, glaring fiercely at Chu Yang.
"Compared to you, I am nothing!" Chu Yang said coldly, lifting his foot, "Take care of yourself and don't die before Wei Wuyan finds you."
Hong Wuliang's face twisted with resentment as he glared at him.
"Look at me again, and I'll dig out your eyeballs and stuff them up your ass; do you believe me?" Chu Yang asked coldly.
Hong Wuliang hurriedly closed his eyes, the humiliation making the muscles around his eyes twitch.
"Let him roll!" Chu Yang lifted his foot and sighed, "It's really not satisfying!"
"Roll!" Zixie Qing kicked Hong Wuliang hard, breaking the seals on him while simultaneously shattering dozens of his bones.
Chu Yang's mouth twitched: this woman is much more ruthless than I am...
Hong Wuliang flew dozens of feet before crashing onto a rock, struggling to get up, enduring the pain of his broken bones, taking a glance back, and stumbling forward.
"Why would such a person take Wei Wuyan as a disciple and nurture him so carefully?" Chu Yang wondered, glancing at Hong Wuliang as he faded into the distance, feeling puzzled.
Zixie Qing looked at him in surprise, "You can't tell?"
Chu Yang was taken aback, "What?"
Zixie Qing indifferently said, "The one inside your body can definitely see it."
Chu Yang rubbed his nose and chuckled bitterly, "Please enlighten me."
