CHAPTER 88: Young Master Huang and Huang Xialiu [First Update!]

Chu Feiyan had been lingering outside the Blood Reward Hall these past few days, waiting for news regarding several spiritual medicines.

In the midst of a crowd dressed in yellow, the ethereal Chu Le'er, clad in a vibrant green outfit, was attending to guests in place of Chu Feiyan.

In the center sat a young man in yellow, with an embroidered golden dragon shining brightly on his chest. Though he was seated, it was evident that he was tall and skinny, resembling a slender bamboo stalk, albeit one afflicted with jaundice.

Chu Yang would bet that if this guy were fully dismembered, he wouldn't yield more than five pounds of meat.

The young man's hair was also yellow with hints of green—his peculiar hair color baffled Chu Yang. It was autumn.

This fellow had deep-set eyes, dark circles under his eyes, high cheekbones, and sunken cheeks, making him look like a gaunt specter from overindulgence.

With such a visage, he would undoubtedly frighten people if he appeared at night; he looked just like a skeleton that had crawled out of a grave.

At this moment, this skeletal figure was posing with a sense of pretentious elegance, tilting his head, as his withered fingers casually tapped the table in a relaxed manner, displaying an expression of 'I am handsome, I am dashing, I am elegant, I have style.'

Behind him stood eight individuals, all with arms crossed, gazing up at the ceiling in unison.

"Who are these people?" Chu Yang stepped inside, his expression darkening, "What do you want?!"

Chu Le'er quickly approached him and whispered, "Big brother, they are from the Huang Family."

"Huang Family?" Chu Yang replied, "So they are from the Huang Family. Um, which Huang Family is that?"

Chu Le'er was astounded.

The Huang Family was the second-largest family in the southeast, just after the Xiao Clan, and her brother didn’t know?

Meanwhile, the young man in yellow continued to sit nonchalantly, turning around to size up Chu Yang, snorting dismissively, and then picking his nose with his finger. He flicked the long nail, and with a 'thud,' a piece of nasal mucus landed on the ground as he maintained a facade of restrained laughter: “You must be… the Chu Divine Doctor? I am Huang!”

“I know your surname is Huang. I’m asking what brings you here.” Chu Yang frowned, tilting his head to glance at Young Master Huang and then at the piece of mucus on the ground, his expression growing gloomy.

Seeing that Chu Yang was being impolite, Young Master Huang's expression shifted; but as if recalling something, he restrained himself and crossed his legs, saying, “I came to see the Chu Divine Doctor for a consultation. If I wanted to flirt, I wouldn’t come here, haha…”

“Not interested.” Chu Yang waved his hand, “I’m in a bad mood, and I won’t treat any patients right now. Young Master Huang, please seek someone else.”

“Why are you in a bad mood?” Young Master Huang asked, puzzled.

“Seeing that thing makes my mood terrible! I’ve forgotten all about medicine and treatments.” Chu Yang raised his foot and pointed at the mucus on the ground without even looking, disgusted, “I’m a person with obsessive cleanliness!”

Young Master Huang was taken aback, squinting at Chu Yang for a long moment before cautiously saying, “You don’t know who I am?”

Before Chu Yang could respond, Young Master Huang burst into laughter, clearly enjoying himself: “You don’t know who I am? Hahaha… So there are still people in the southeast who don’t recognize me.”

Chu Yang frowned and sat down on the counter—there weren’t any chairs left.

Looking at the self-satisfied Young Master Huang, Chu Yang asked blandly, “Are you the Law Sovereign of the enforcers?”

Young Master Huang was startled and quickly shook his head, “No.” That was something he couldn't acknowledge.

Chu Yang continued, “Then are you the head of Medicine Valley?”

Young Master Huang was surprised again, “No!” Another title he couldn't recognize.
