Chapter 97: Young Master Wei's Suffering

“Uh, the real function is the left front palm…” Chu Yang was speechless. Looking at this giant bear surrounded by dozens of throne experts, it was hard to believe it had become such a pitiful sight in the Sword Spirit's mouth.

Young Master Wei was equally disappointed, murmuring, “Damn it, how did this thing come out? What kind of ninth level spirit beast is this?...”

Suddenly furious, he shouted, “It’s simply a waste of my time!”

He then bellowed, “Everyone, get out of my way! Are you all crowding here to feed this monster?”

The fighters in the midst of battle were furious, turning around to see a figure rushing over like the wind.

In the snowstorm, Young Master Wei, clad in a blue robe, flared out his garments against the wind, his body tearing through the air, scattering the snowflakes. With a thunderous sound, the powerful airflow he generated sent several throne experts tumbling to the ground. He arrived right above the ancient ice bear and without saying a word, delivered a fierce kick to the bear’s shoulder!

The ice bear let out a loud roar, and its massive body was actually kicked off the ground, flying seven or eight yards away before crashing onto an ice peak, shattering it with a loud noise.

Then, it jumped up in fright, glancing fearfully at Young Master Wei, who was about to soar into the air again, and suddenly let out a strange cry before turning tail and running away.

This creature that had just been showing off its might was actually sent fleeing with its tail tucked between its legs by Young Master Wei’s kick!

This shocking scene left everyone watching with their mouths agape and eyes wide open, looking at Young Master Wei as if he were an immortal…

Is this… really a human?

Young Master Wei didn’t pursue; he merely floated down, looking down at the crowd disdainfully and said, “With trash like you, you dare to hunt a ninth level spirit beast? Do you even know a ninth level spirit beast can kill you with a single fart? Truly pitifully ignorant… get lost quickly, what are you looking at? Want to die?”

The group, clearly from several families, felt humiliated. Although Young Master Wei's words were extremely harsh, they didn't dare to retort even slightly, not even daring to show angry expressions. They all forced smiles and began to retreat.

“I said get lost quickly! Can’t you understand?” Young Master Wei was furious, kicking a middle-aged man in the rear, sending him rolling forward with a loud smack.

“Just like that! Get out of my sight! Otherwise, die!” Young Master Wei was evidently a bit manic. He kicked out repeatedly, turning seven or eight throne experts into rolling balls.

The group dared not express their anger but had to bow their heads in humiliation, choosing to roll away quickly.

Until these people disappeared from view, Young Master Wei still had lingering anger.

“Brother Wei… your temper seems a bit intense today,” Chu Yang chuckled lightly and asked.

“I came here for the ninth level spirit beast, as it has great value! Yet I encountered such a shameless bear pretending to be a ninth level spirit beast!” Young Master Wei huffed and said, “If all this commotion was caused by this bear, wouldn’t that mean I made a wasted trip? Ninth level spirit beasts… are not so easy to find! Sigh!”

As he finished, he let out a sigh.

“I see,” Chu Yang nodded secretly in his heart, realizing the reason was here. No wonder he didn’t care about the core of this ice bear; his goal was only one: the ninth level spirit beast.

“We’ve encountered many spirit beasts before, mostly fifth or sixth level, or seventh level. Their power is not particularly strong; why is this ice bear, only an eighth level, so strong?” Gu Duxing chimed in to ask.

“Seventh level and eighth level… how can they be compared? One is in the sky, and the other is on the ground!” Young Master Wei said impatiently. “Furthermore, this ice bear is at the peak of the eighth level… it needs tremendous opportunity and time to break through to the ninth level… that’s why I didn’t kill it.”
