Chu Yang did not respond to the Sword Spirit's words at all.
Because there was a huge surprise waiting for him, everything else was not important!
In his arms, Wu Qianqian finally opened her eyes, and as soon as she did, she found herself staring into Chu Yangâs anxious gaze.
Those eyes were like the dawn of a new life. Chu Yang was instantly captivated by the surprise in those eyes.
Wu Qianqian stared wide-eyed, as if she were in a dream, not daring to believe it was real, looking at Chu Yang with a gaze full of deep emotion and disbelief.
Her long eyelashes trembled wildly.
"I... am I not dreaming...?" Wu Qianqian said softly.
Chu Yang finally felt relieved; Wu Qianqian spoke with a strong voice, no weaker than an ordinary person, clearly indicating that although she hadnât fully recovered, she was already much better.
"Of course, how could this possibly be a dream?" Chu Yang gazed at her, their eyes almost touching, both clearly feeling the warm breath exchanged as they spoke.
Wu Qianqian stared blankly at Chu Yang, and suddenly the corners of her mouth twitched, as if she wanted to smile but ultimately failed, instead her mouth opened as if to cry, and tears silently filled her eyes, falling like beads from a broken string.
Then, she began to sob silently.
Though she was crying, she still couldnât bear to close her eyes, stubbornly keeping them wide open, staring intently at Chu Yang.
She was afraid that if she closed her eyes and then opened them again, the beloved face she adored would disappear...
Chu Yang, fully aware of his belovedâs feelings at that moment, hugged her tightly, equally unwilling to let go.
He was so moved, his heart filled with warmth and gratitude.
In this moment, not only did Wu Qianqian, who had just awakened, fail to notice that she was not wearing clothes, even Chu Yang completely overlooked it. The two were so candid with each other, embracing in the most intimate manner.
Moreover, Chu Yang remembered the Sword Spirit's earlier instructions; Wu Qianqian's entire body was suspended, her feet off the ground, her entire weight resting on Chu Yang.
The two gazed at each other, overwhelmed with joy.
After a long time, Wu Qianqian's emotions began to calm down slightly. She looked at Chu Yang with deep affection and asked, "Is this really... true?" Her voice still held a strong sense of uncertainty.
After a long, eternal slumber, being with the one she loved was already the greatest consolation. Yet, the overwhelming losses made Wu Qianqian truly afraid to fully believe that everything in front of her was real!
"Really! It's true!" Chu Yang looked at her, nodding with absolute certainty.
Wu Qianqian suddenly covered her mouth with her hand and began to cry, suppressing her emotions.
That beautiful pair of eyes finally dared to close, but due to the bittersweet surprise and the prolonged time of keeping her eyes open, tears flowed more and more, like a gushing spring.
"Thank you, heavens! Thank you, earth!" Wu Qianqian murmured, tightly hugging Chu Yang, resting her head contentedly on his chest, and softly said, "Chu Yang, I once made a determination."
"What determination?"
"When I was in a coma, I thought that if one day I could wake up again, I would tell you something, something I had long wanted to say, but never had the courage to say." Wu Qianqian raised her head, looking directly at Chu Yang, unblinking, seriously and deliberately saying, "Chu Yang, Qianqian likes you!"
Chu Yang suddenly closed his eyes, feeling as if the softest part of his heart had been struck heavily!
It was all bittersweet affection!
Memories surged through his mind at lightning speed, so vivid and close.
It turned out that his beloved had long inscribed indelible marks in his heart; he had completely overlooked them before!
The Heavenly Weapon Pavilion, that black robe, that fierce mask, and the beautiful hair hidden behind the mask, that unparalleled beauty!
When she left, she had sent a large package, inside of which were all the black robes sewn by Wu Qianqian, he didnât know how many pieces...
