Snow Fairy had basically confirmed that this Chu Kid had no understanding at all; he was just using the typical merchant strategy to drive the price down. His words were sharp and venomous, leaving no room for negotiation. However, the circumstances were beyond his control, and to save herself from trouble, even though she had a chance to ask for a sky-high price and had already opened her mouth wide, she still left herself some leeway.
What if this bastard made the same mistake again? It would be unreasonable.
If this kid simply lacked vision, couldn’t recognize value, and only wanted to pay the originally discussed price for five items, Snow Fairy would accept it!
There was no way to reason with someone as clueless and shameless as him; all she could do was endure the frustration!
“Ten? No problem!” Chu Yang agreed cleanly and decisively. Wasn’t it just ten? There wasn’t a problem at all: “I like this one very much, so I’ll give you two more for free, making it twelve!”
Snow Fairy stared at him in shock, her eyes filled with disbelief!
Chu Yang’s sudden generosity made her regretful to the point of almost crying.
It turned out this bastard was not just clueless, but a pure kind of clueless...
She was actually going to lose out...
Although Snow Fairy was a peerless expert, she was really not well-versed in the art of bargaining. But who was Chu Yang? When he conducted business, he could practically sell others while getting them to help count the money.
Wasn’t today a perfect example?
He first drove the price down to an extremely low point, giving Snow Fairy the illusion that she couldn’t get much! However, rare and precious treasures were something you could encounter but not seek, forcing Snow Fairy’s psychological defenses to crumble, and he successfully obtained a huge bargain!
Originally, she could have exchanged for at least dozens, if not nearly a hundred, spiritual medicines but ended up exchanging for a paltry twelve, and those two were given away...
“I can’t let him take advantage of me any longer.” Snow Fairy firmly resolved in her heart.
Next, Snow Fairy learned her lesson, beginning to strategize carefully, genuinely starting to ask for a sky-high price. Embracing the challenge, she raised the price to an unprecedented height, allowing him to negotiate down, but she definitely would not follow his playbook!
Chu Yang calmly responded, countering every move without a hint of disarray.
You demand a sky-high price, I’ll pay you back on the ground.
Lips - spear, tongue, sword, neither side would yield.
This study room instantly transformed into a battleground, devoid of smoke but thick with the smell of gunpowder, or perhaps it should be said it had turned into a marketplace, filled with increasingly intense bargaining sounds.
If worse came to worst, Chu Yang had his ultimate weapon: You take it back! I don’t want it; what’s the big deal?
The saying goes, “One trick will feed you for life.” Once this move was played, who could rival him?!
Every time Snow Fairy heard this line, it felt like she had swallowed a fly, and she had the impulse to slap this guy into a pulp. The urge strengthened each time!
She felt so suffocated she could almost hang herself.
Snow Fairy’s roar grew louder, while Chu Yang remained calm and gentle, not anxious or impatient.
In the end...
“If I trade with you again, I’m a bastard!” Snow Fairy finally stormed out in anger, slamming the door so hard that the entire study trembled. And in an instant, she vanished without a trace.
“Is the fairy leaving? Take care... You’re welcome to visit again next time.” Chu Yang politely bid her farewell. The study was already in shambles from Snow Fairy's rampage!
The previous bargaining was a humiliation and frustration that Snow Fairy had never encountered in her life, and in a rage, she was practically in hysteria.
Anything that could be smashed was turned to dust.
Looking at the chaos in the study, Chu Yang, who should have been angry, turned around and smiled broadly.
