The human body's dantian is singular. Of course, some cultivators propose the concept of upper, middle, and lower dantian; this notion has gained some traction.
But true practitioners know that fundamentally, there is only one dantian in the human body. This is the place where all the energy of a person converges, and it is also the source of one's power!
No matter what one wants to do, to exert force, it always comes from the dantian.
But now, Chu Yang's dantian has split!
A split dantian... This is a situation that is hard to imagine simply by thinking about it. Chu Yang's current dantian, or perhaps it should now be called a ‘group of dantian’!
A group of dantian?
What is going on here?
Originally, the primordial silk that was densely packed within the dantian is now dispersed due to the split; it has divided into nine parts. Each part contains only a handful of primordial silk, making it appear exceptionally empty, or perhaps one could say hollow.
Top, middle, bottom, front, back, left, right...
Hmm, exactly nine, resembling half of a Nine Palace diagram!
Chu Yang gasped, and suddenly his hands and feet went cold!
It is well-known that in order to break through one's cultivation level, one must continuously store true qi and elemental force in the dantian. After reaching a certain level of cultivation, one must compress and release it all at once to clear the previously unpassed meridians. If successful, the cultivation level will rise to a new tier; if unsuccessful, one must start accumulating again from the beginning.
Throughout history, even with immortals and demons coming into the world, there has never been an exception.
But... Chu Yang has ended up with nine dantian!
This means that while others only need to fill one dantian to advance their cultivation level, Chu Yang must fill all nine before he can make any progress.
On the surface, this means that Chu Yang's advancement is at least nine times more difficult than that of an ordinary person.
But in reality, this difficulty exceeds ninefold! It could even be ninetyfold or nine hundredfold!
Of course, this insurmountable difficulty is also his greatest support for challenging those at higher levels. The sum of his potential cultivation far exceeds that of cultivators at the same level, and once he reaches that point, he will be absolutely invincible among his peers! But the current problem is that there are tiered obstacles; if he cannot reach that tier, he cannot grasp the mysterious principles of that realm.
This has nothing to do with the amount of cultivation.
At his current level, Chu Yang might be able to achieve invincibility at the earth level, and even if facing an advanced earth level opponent, he could potentially win! But as for Chu Yang himself, he absolutely cannot compete with any heavenly level expert. This is the limitation of realms and levels.
To put it metaphorically: it’s like a newborn baby eating the highest grade of heavenly materials and earthly treasures. Luckily, it hasn’t been overwhelmed by true essence and is filled with it; this baby could absolutely sweep aside all other infants. However, can this newborn baby defeat a twenty-something adult?
The answer is: absolutely not!
No matter how impressive you are, you are still a baby. To become stronger, you must first grow!
You must go through the trials and tribulations of the human world to gain the corresponding insights, and develop your own wisdom and judgment.
These things cannot be hurried.
And cultivation is no different.
At the human level, you can only access insights of the human level; you can never comprehend what the holy sovereigns or sages grasp!
Thus, this is an insurmountable chasm! You must proceed step by step.
Of course, even within the dantian, there will be distinctions of quality. The speed of progress varies, and achievements differ.
As for having nine dantian...
It turns out to be a trash constitution, and the kind that ranks at the very bottom among super garbage.
The conclusion is clear!
