“if I said I’m unwilling, what would you do?” Brother Tiger asked with a serious expression.

“Then I’ll think of another way,” Chu Yang replied with a calm smile. “The channels for making money don’t necessarily have to come from here.”

“Why?” Brother Tiger asked, puzzled. It didn’t even realize that there was an unusual, long-lost emotion hidden in that statement.

He lowered his head, not allowing Chu Yang to see the eager look in his eyes. But only he knew that he was waiting for an answer.

“What’s there to question?” Chu Yang said strangely as if it were obvious. “Because you are different from those spirit beasts in the Spirit Beast Betting Arena. Right now, you are my partner; we just signed a partnership contract. Don’t you know that?”

“Uh…” Brother Tiger fell silent.

“Since we’re partners, I have to respect your choice,” Chu Yang continued. “If you don’t want to fight those low-level spirit beasts, what’s the point in forcing you? A partner is not a subordinate or a slave, it’s not something I can command. We should discuss everything together. You know this very well, so why are you still asking why?”

Brother Tiger lowered his head, and there was a rumble in his throat for a while. Finally, he whispered so softly that it was almost inaudible, “Actually, I also want to spend some time in the Beast Arena... to fight a few rounds... heh heh, it’s just for some memories in my heart…”

His words were very light and vague; Chu Yang didn’t hear clearly and asked, “What did you say?”

Brother Tiger suddenly lifted his head and chuckled, “Of course I’m willing to go, hahaha… I love playing the pig to eat the tiger. Every time I see those fellows who think they have me figured out suddenly realize they’ve hit a brick wall, their eyes filled with disbelief as they stare at death, it’s like eating honey in my heart, hahaha…”

A burst of wild laughter followed, leaving Chu Yang with a black line on his face.

This guy is as sinister as himself…

“Then it’s settled! Let’s go play the pig eating the tiger together!”

“Roar! Meow!”

The human and the beast continued their strides.

Chu Yang thought to himself: Brother Tiger seems to have something on his mind, or maybe he’s feeling emotional? It feels like he’s not very happy inside… Why? I need to think of a way to cheer him up…

Brother Tiger was thinking: Hmm, this Chu Yang is really not bad… Just because of this respect, it’s worth my effort. Sigh, benefactor, where are you? I really miss that brief gathering…

After turning around, they arrived at a secluded spot. Chu Yang quietly changed his appearance, then completely disregarding Brother Tiger’s objections, forcibly restored him to his true form, palm-sized, and tucked him into his arms as he hurried back to the men’s hall.

Cat Nini was already in a total fluster.

Teacher Cat was now genuinely frustrated!

He was originally deep in thought while meditating in the room but couldn't calm down and restlessly paced around the courtyard. After just about two laps, suddenly, a person fell from the sky!

With pinpoint accuracy and great weight, they landed right on Teacher Cat’s head!

“Meow, that hurts! Who the hell attacked me! I’m so pissed off…” With Teacher Cat’s cultivation level, he surprisingly didn’t notice it beforehand, and worse, he got hit so hard that a large bump appeared on his head, making it look like a unicorn.

“I’m going to fight you, meow!” After being knocked senseless for a moment, Teacher Cat finally got up. Just as he was about to get angry, he realized that the person who fell from the sky didn’t need him to fight anymore; they were already bleeding from all seven orifices, unconscious, their face as pale as paper, on the verge of death.

They looked like they were about to die. This instantly extinguished Teacher Cat’s explosive anger.

After trying to kick a couple of times, he noticed the person wasn’t responding at all. With Teacher Cat’s experience and eyesight, he could tell that this person was indeed gravely injured and on the verge of death, and there was a high possibility they would soon meet their end...
