Chu Yang curled his lips, “What do you think I want? Who asked that damn Law Sovereign to raise himself to such an inhuman level? If we don’t find a way to improve our strength, are we just going to sit and wait for death on the day of the showdown? Just tell me, is there a shortcut to quickly enhance our power!”
The Sword Spirit pondered for a moment and said, “The ninefold pill is already the most perfect divine medicine under the Nine Heavens. If you want to find a more effective way to enhance power that has no side effects, there absolutely isn’t one. Even if there is, it falls outside the scope of what can be used under the Nine Heavens, and it’s not suitable for now!”
Chu Yang was somewhat dumbfounded, “What do you mean? Is there really no way? At this critical moment, how can you still drop the ball?”
The Sword Spirit continued, “Don’t be anxious, let me finish. It’s still the same saying, there’s definitely no medicine more powerful than the ninefold pill, but we can work on the ninefold pill itself. The medicinal materials left by Master Zi at the Heaven's Gate, along with those heavenly materials and earthly treasures from other dimensions, if combined properly, should yield better effects than an ordinary ninefold pill…”
Chu Yang said, “So, you’re saying it’s a super version that surpasses the complete version? How much can it enhance?”
The Sword Spirit contemplated for a moment and said, “To be honest, the greatest effect of the ninefold pill is reviving the dead, restoring life and healing injuries. While it has a significant effect on improving constitution and enhancing talent, its actual effect on cultivation level is not very ideal… If we can improve it, merging the vast medicinal power to create a ninefold pill specifically aimed at enhancing cultivation, for instance, the super ninefold pill we refined for Master Zi last time, if we amend it a bit, the maximum effect… should be able to enhance the supreme realm by at least a hundred years…”
Cultivation levels also vary in degree. For example, a throne might cultivate for a hundred years, and the effect and results would be vastly different compared to a supreme being who cultivates for the same time. To put it simply, during that period, the former might only absorb a small stone, while the latter could absorb an entire mountain.
The gap is that exaggerated; saying it’s as different as heaven and earth is not an exaggeration.

“I see, that makes sense.” Chu Yang contemplated, “So, how many super versions of the ninefold pill can we refine with the medicinal materials we currently have? The Sword Spirit calculated briefly, “Don’t be too pessimistic. Actually, a part of the medicines has grown considerably during this time in the nine calamity space… Currently, if we use them all and add a small amount of the nine great spiritual medicines, we should be able to refine… seventeen super versions of the ninefold pill! No more than that!”
