CHAPTER 172: You Are in Great Danger Now

Kong Heartache felt every hair on his body stand on end with excitement!

With such attire, could there be anyone else? And this was right in front of the Butian Pavilion! Who would dare to impersonate Chu King of Hell here??

Kong Throne felt a rush of excitement…

Meanwhile, Chu Yang arrived at Cloud Gate Inn and only donned his mask in front of the Blade King's room; he knocked lightly twice.

"Who?" Inside, the Blade King's voice sounded a bit muffled.

"It's me," Chu Yang replied with a smile. "Senior, you wouldn't fail to recognize my voice, would you?"

With a sudden creak, the door swung open; the Blade King scolded, "In such chaotic times, why are you running around alone? If your identity is discovered, it's a death sentence for you!"

The Blade King's tone was a bit reproachful, and his expression was somewhat odd, as if he felt a little embarrassed. After all, following the prison break incident, his men had not arrived. Now that he saw Chu King of Hell, it was only natural for him to feel a bit guilty.

"If my identity were to be discovered... even in Butian Pavilion, I would still be a dead man," Chu Yang smiled. "Senior, are you busy?"

"Not busy, not busy, come in," the Blade King stepped aside.

As Chu Yang entered, he couldn’t help but be surprised. There were seventeen or eighteen people inside, which explained why he hadn’t encountered anyone outside; they were all having a meeting here…

“Good morning, everyone,” Chu King of Hell politely greeted. The assassins from the Dark Demon Clan looked puzzled at this sudden appearance of a man in black masks. Who is this guy? He seems quite familiar?

"This is the Chu Imperial Seat from Butian Pavilion, Lord Chu," the Blade King explained.

Immediately, everyone’s expressions turned interested. This was the guy who had worn a ferocious mask that day?

"Uh, Lord Chu has come today; I wonder what you have to teach us?" The Blade King spoke politely today. He couldn't afford to be impolite; feeling guilty, everyone knew something big had happened last night, and when he came out to check, he found that his men hadn’t arrived. The dissatisfaction in his heart need not be mentioned.

He had once pounded his chest and sworn guarantees. Now, having done nothing, the matter was resolved... how was he to explain this?

The Blade King even had a thought: if Chu King of Hell mentioned last night's events, he would take the opportunity to scold this group again!

This was simply too much!

"How could I dare to say 'teach'?" Chu King of Hell sighed deeply, fulfilling the Blade King's expectations. "Senior, do you know about the major prison break incident that occurred last night?"

"Uh... I heard about it," the Blade King's face flushed a bit as he glared fiercely at his subordinates.

"Last night... the situation was truly beyond words," Chu King of Hell's expression was heavy.

"What happened?" the Blade King asked nervously.

"I have something to report to you, to apologize," Chu Yang said solemnly. "The prison break last night shocked the Nine Cities! And within the prison, it was a scene of blood and carnage, like hell itself. Senior, you generously sent an eighth-grade martial sovereign expert to assist us, but I truly feel extremely ashamed..."

"That eighth-grade martial sovereign expert, unfortunately... perished along with the enemy..." Chu King of Hell lowered his head in sorrow.

"He died?" The Blade King suddenly jumped to his feet.

"Yes; that senior was truly a hero, possessing the heart of a chivalrous warrior, exceptionally valiant!" Chu Yang said. "He fought alone against two ninth-grade martial sovereigns, managing to take them down with him... If it weren't for him, the casualties would have been even greater..."

"This hero, however, was left to fight alone, and reinforcements arrived too late, leading to his tragic demise within the prison. How sad, how lamentable!" Chu King of Hell wiped his eyes with his sleeve, seemingly shedding tears.

"He died... Han Laosan died..." The Blade King stood dazed for a moment before suddenly erupting in anger. "You bunch of bastards! I told you to hurry and go, but each of you was like a mountain, refusing to move! Now, well done, because you didn’t go, Han Laosan is dead! Do you realize Han Laosan is dead?!"
