Holy King Awakens!
The Three Star Holy Clan has been waiting for this day for a full hundred thousand years!
A hundred thousand years is an incredibly long time, far too long!
“The supreme demon body is indeed remarkable! It can actually devour my overflowing heavenly demon qi!” The heavenly demon looked at Tan Tan, surrounded by swirling black mist, with infinite envy. He said fiercely, “Unfortunately, your cultivation level is still too weak, so you can't devour much. Otherwise, I truly wouldn't know how to deal with you, and perhaps I'd even fall to your hands. However, the outcome of this battle can already be determined; I will definitely seize your supreme demon body!”
Tan Tan remained silent, his body motionless, but suddenly, he soared into the air. He held one hand behind his back and swung the other in the air, instantly manifesting a pitch-black giant blade, nearly dozens of feet long, striking down with great force!
“Good! This move looks decent!” The heavenly demon laughed long and loud, not dodging or avoiding it. He leaped up to meet it, producing a bizarre black giant sword that materialized from thin air, positioning it to intercept Tan Tan's blade.
However, with this strike, the heavenly demon could already sense that Tan Tan's current attack was absolutely worlds apart from before!
The hidden power within this strike was repressed and concealed; even if it fell to the ground, as long as Tan Tan didn’t wish to destroy the earth, not even a grain of sand would be lifted.
Yet, if Tan Tan were to unleash his full power, this single blow would be enough to split the entire Central Capital in half!
As the blade and sword clashed in the air, demonic energy and black mist surged simultaneously, spreading outward in all directions.
Tan Tan yanked his blade back, then spun it, unleashing a torrential downpour of seven hundred strikes.
The heavenly demon's sword danced and flew, not retreating an inch, flawlessly parrying every strike. His technique and precision reached a terrifying level.
Previously, their clashes had torn the very fabric of space, the might of their battle astonishing the heavens and earth.
But at this moment, their fight resembled an ordinary martial artist brawl, with each blade and sword seemingly mundane. Their movements, while agile, held no extraordinary flair.
Even the flowers and grass on the ground remained oblivious to their battle.
Yet, Gu Yigu and the others, lying on the ground, expressed deep shock in their eyes.
That was the realm of returning to simplicity!
This was already a legendary state; although it appeared that neither of them utilized any added power with their weapons, everyone understood that both were employing their elemental force with the utmost precision—an almost perfect control!
Absolutely no energy was wasted!
All their power would only explode fully when it struck the opponent; as long as they couldn’t make contact, as long as they couldn’t inflict harm, they would utterly suppress the leakage of their power, leaving not a trace.
As they fought, rolling and tumbling, in the blink of an eye, thousands of moves had already been exchanged.
The realm of returning to simplicity—each move was divine, appearing and disappearing like a ghost, every technique brilliant to the last detail!
The heavenly demon's demonic energy continued to emanate, while Tan Tan's black mist expanded and engulfed the surroundings; much of the heavenly demon's energy had already been assimilated by the black mist, transforming into Tan Tan’s power.
Yet, their battle was utterly different from this war of energies, or rather, the outcomes were precisely opposite.
Under the heavenly demon's reckless and cost-unconcerned drive of cultivation, Tan Tan's techniques, while exquisitely clever, still lagged behind in cultivation level and began to gradually fall into a disadvantage!
Gu Yigu and the others watched in agony, their eyes almost bursting with rage, but they were already severely injured, their lives hanging by a thread; they couldn't even move, only filled with anxiety. Even if everyone were well, the situation before them was far beyond their reach; the disparity in levels was too vast.
