The masters of the Nine Heavens Pavilion are not comparable to those of the Nine Heavens Continent. Once dispersed, they become even more vulnerable; not to mention a word, even a glance can spark murderous intent, leading to a battle for life and death.
As the two spoke and walked, they reached a secluded corner. In the distance, their brothers saw them in conversation and wisely chose not to interrupt, lowering their voices to avoid disturbing the two prominent figures.
"What you say makes sense, but... there are some matters that I still feel should be handled more gently," Chu Yang said softly. "Brothers are not the same as subordinates; in a lifetime, brothers are rare..."
"Brothers are different from subordinates..." Mo Tianji's eyes brightened. "I understand."
"This time, the strength of our brothers has greatly increased. Do you have any plans in mind for the future, Tianji?" Chu Yang asked.
"For future plans..." Mo Tianji pondered. "What stage has the Nine Calamity Sword reached now?"
Chu Yang scratched his head. "For now, it should be at its peak... hmm, it is completely different from the previous so-called Nine Calamity legends. It is entirely different. I am confident I can surpass them by a lot..."
Mo Tianji's gaze brightened. "As expected! So, what exactly is different? How do you have such confidence?!"
Chu Yang replied, "It's rather strange to talk about. Without mentioning the issue of the sword soul... just look at the nine calamity individuals; they are very different from before."
"There have been many legends stating that the bond of the nine calamity brothers moved the heavens and the earth; the nine calamity nine great clans held sway over the world... There are also legends that say there are no same surnames among the nine calamities. Or rather, that there are no women among the nine calamities."
Chu Yang said, somewhat perplexed, "But this time, everything has turned upside down, completely overturning many 'customs'... The final calamity of the nine calamities, all signs point to Qing Wu... What is going on?"
Mo Tianji chuckled confidently. "Is that what you're concerned about?"
Chu Yang stated, "That's my biggest doubt. Shouldn't it be a cause for concern?!"
Mo Tianji laughed heartily.
"What are you laughing at? What's so funny?" Chu Yang felt a bit depressed, truly caught off guard by Mo Tianji's laughter.
"What am I laughing at? I'm laughing at you. A smart person like you loves to get stuck on trivial points." Mo Tianji laughed for a while and then said, "Don't you know, I am currently mastering the divine skills of the world; moreover, we have previously mentioned that the original predecessor who possessed these divine skills only learned a superficial level. Logically speaking, a person with a particularly good mind tends to have relatively poor practical skills."
"However, I broke this norm. My current realm is already ten times higher than that predecessor."
Mo Tianji continued, "But the more I research, the more I feel that this divine skill is as vast as the sea... However, this divine skill requires broad knowledge and the ability to integrate various aspects, finding one's own path from personal understanding... perhaps it's only suited for someone like me to practice..."
Chu Yang nodded. "That does sound quite reasonable."
One must admit that what kind of person plays what kind of bird; similarly, what kind of person practices what kind of skill.
When Mo Tianji was at his greatest bottleneck in mastering the world's divine skills, he had asked Chu Yang to help him explore it together. As a result, Chu Yang found himself overwhelmed after just a brief look, nearly losing his sanity.
The technique wasn't particularly difficult to practice, but the wide-ranging knowledge required was simply too much, making it extremely daunting. Chu Yang only studied it for three days before fleeing without daring to touch it again.
Yet Mo Tianji, relying on his own abilities, managed to draw from diverse sources, finding an alternative path.
