Ao Xieyun scratched his head, "It's too risky!"
"Diwu Qingrou is naturally cautious and won't make such mistakes," Mo Tianji's eyes sparkled. "Therefore, he won't believe I would commit such a major taboo. If Diwu Qingrou could foresee this in advance, then we've already lost this battle."
"But I'm confident that Diwu Qingrou won't anticipate it!"
Mo Tianji said calmly as he sped forward, "Because before this, I didn't think of it myself; this was a decision made in a flash of inspiration. The time taken to make this decision didn't exceed half an hour since we set off, arriving five hundred miles away."
Ao Xieyun was taken aback, "You mobilized the entire army on a whim?"
"I was surprised myself! So, Diwu Qingrou will certainly not anticipate it in advance." Mo Tianji glanced at the all-white-clad team of the Li family, almost blending into the vast expanse of snow, and smiled proudly.
"And then?" Ao Xieyun asked.
Mo Tianji frowned and replied, "Then, there’s currently no plan. Diwu Qingrou's use of tactics has reached a point where there are no traces to follow; thus, I can only respond to his moves… and decide the next step."
Ao Xieyun was left speechless.
Mo Tianji chuckled and patted Ao Xieyun's shoulder, "You need to have the right strategy for the type of enemy you are dealing with… yes, just like that."
Saying this, Mo Tianji accelerated ahead, clearly not wanting to continue the conversation.
Ao Xieyun scratched his head and asked Rui Butong, "What do you think?"
Rui Butong rolled his eyes, "What do you want me to think? When Mo Tianji is around, I’ve never thought for myself."
Ao Xieyun was infuriated, cursing, "Damn! You never think for yourself even when Mo Tianji isn't around! You have no brain!"
Rui Butong was momentarily stunned and responded in confusion, "What does this have to do with me... Why are you inexplicably targeting me..."
Ao Xieyun had already surged dozens of feet away.
……
After several encounters, Diwu Qingrou had deeply realized the strength of Mo Tianji across from him.
He had never encountered such a formidable opponent, and for a moment, he was filled with fierce ambition.
Diwu Qingrou had always been the one pulling the strings; but now he felt a sense of loss of control. With every encounter, it seemed that Mo Tianji knew exactly what he intended to achieve!
And whenever he wanted to cooperate, it typically coincided with when he was trying to gain some advantage. He could make corresponding adjustments or compromises based on his arrangements to reach his goals.
For example, boosting morale, increasing prestige, or enhancing the rapid establishment of the fifth family, among other things.
However, when he did not want to gain these, meaning when his plans sought greater benefits, he would often receive a blow to the head, or have everything shattered, or be cut off at the middle… and all of this occurred under extremely calculable circumstances.
Of course, when he wanted to gain something, he had to leave room for the other party to also gain something, just less than himself. He had to signal this beforehand for the other party to cooperate.
In other words, if he didn’t show the other party any benefits, then they would definitely not cooperate.
And whenever there was movement on the other side, when they sought to gain some authority or advantages, their actions would clearly hint to him; at that moment, he would also see the corresponding benefits. Although somewhat frustrating, in order to obtain them, he had to cooperate!
But the current situation was one thing.
Diwu Qingrou knew that he held the advantage in strength, yet in the realm of true strategy, he had slightly lowered himself compared to the opponent.
That was… he had once made a move aiming for great gains that exceeded the opponent’s capacity to bear, and the opponent had not cooperated at all, hitting him hard. Although he didn’t suffer major losses, Diwu Qingrou could see from the opponent’s arrangements that they were somewhat angered.
