Transcending the Nine Heavens

Meng Huan Huan couldn't help but blush and laugh, immediately believing that these few people were indeed friends of Li Xiong Tu. She shyly said, "We are not married yet." This meant that calling her sister-in-law or younger sister-in-law was not quite appropriate.

Ao Xieyun exclaimed, “Li Xiong Tu, you fool! With such a beauty, why haven’t you quickly married her home… I’m envious just watching…”

Li Xiong Tu immediately became nervous and stepped in front of Meng Huan Huan, saying, “Ao Xieyun, you rascal, your family already has a horde of wives and concubines…” He quietly said to Meng Huan Huan, “You hurry inside. These people are not good.”

Ao Xieyun and the others burst into laughter, filled with joy!

Watching Meng Huan Huan leave, Li Xiong Tu said, “Follow me.”

He turned and walked away.

Mo Tianji and the others quickly followed him into a hidden room in the courtyard.

“This hidden room belongs to the Li family,” Li Xiong Tu said in a deep voice. “There were monitoring devices here originally, but I destroyed them. The family didn’t say anything.”

Mo Tianji chose a chair to sit down, “What do you want to say?”

Li Xiong Tu turned his back to the three and slowly said, “I don’t know your purpose for coming here. But I know that you, Mo Tianji, definitely do not have good intentions!”

Mo Tianji smiled slightly but said nothing.

Ao Xieyun and Rui Butong found it a bit amusing. It seemed Mo Tianji’s cunning had penetrated deep into people’s hearts… even the straightforward Li Xiong Tu knew he was not well-intentioned.

“The current crisis of the Li family is already at a critical juncture. The only person who can barely turn this situation around or maintain it is you,” Li Xiong Tu said. “I never deny this; however, I want to know, what exactly do you want? If you just want to use all the value of the Li family, and after using it, the Li family still ends up destroyed, then I’ll send you away right now.”

“Since it’s bound to be destroyed sooner or later, then the process is all the same.”

Li Xiong Tu said, “Considering we know each other, I won't make things difficult for you.”

Mo Tianji smiled faintly, “I genuinely want to help the Li family through this difficult time. Although we have our own interests involved, if the Li family ultimately ceases to exist, it won’t benefit us at all!”

Li Xiong Tu let out a cold smile, “Actually, you are the real nine calamities, right?”

Mo Tianji was taken aback, then smiled, “They say Li Xiong Tu is simple-minded; it seems the rumors are not credible.”

Li Xiong Tu angrily said, “I don’t have a mind! Just recently, someone came to ask me about this matter; only then did I finally understand that the family had treated me so well, taken care of me, because they suspected I was one of the nine calamities!”

Mo Tianji sneered, “Did you deny it?”

“Yes! I denied it!” Li Xiong Tu shouted angrily, “I am not one of them, why can’t I deny it?”

Mo Tianji coldly laughed, “So, does anyone believe you?”

“No one!” Li Xiong Tu said in despair, suddenly turning around like a whirlwind, “All of this is because of you! Or rather because of you! Apart from you, no one would have schemed like this back then!”

“No matter how I deny it now, no one will believe me!”

Li Xiong Tu said bitterly, “Since I learned about all this, only three days have passed; but I can still guess that you’ve been plotting for so long, you definitely wouldn’t just watch the Li family be destroyed; now, you really have come!”

He let out a cold laugh, his eyes like blades looking at Mo Tianji, sarcastically saying, “You actually came as a savior!”

Mo Tianji suddenly felt an overwhelming aura rushing toward him, “You’re shameless!”

Mo Tianji and the others were somewhat surprised.

They hadn’t expected Li Xiong Tu to have such deep feelings for the Li family.

Li Xiong Tu took a deep breath and said, “The Li family has nurtured me; this kindness must not go unrepaid. If you want to exploit the Li family and harm it, then you’ll have to step over my dead body!”
