The first installment of the remaining people.

Ryo and Abel have disappeared.

There was no one who could move immediately.

In the midst of this, the first to spring into action was the genius alchemist, Viscount Kenneth Hayward.

"Abel, Ryo-san... Abel should have the Enemy-Friend Identification Tag attached!"

He murmured softly and began to move immediately.

He jumped onto the 'Long-Distance Dispersion Divine Mercy (Panacea Breath)' and rewrote several magic formulas to restart it.

Then, data was collected.

Data was being output.

"Abel is not within a radius of fifty kilometers."

He muttered, starting to think.

It was a vague feeling, but he felt that the two were together.

Moreover, it seemed to be some sort of transfer.

As long as they were in this world, they would surely attempt to make contact.

"Ryo-san's level of alchemy is very high..."

Viscount Kenneth Hayward represents the kingdom as an alchemist.

It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say he represents the Central Nations.

The only one comparable to him is Frank de Verde from the Alliance...

That's commonly said.

And that is generally correct.

However, the parties involved have a different interpretation.

"Ryo-san has mastered a different system of alchemy from mine, and he has ideas that I cannot even conceive."

That is the highest level of evaluation.

What should he do?

Certainly, there would be different ideas than his, but he would likely adjust to this situation.

Duke Rondo Ryo Mihara is that kind of person.

"Alchemy that transcends distance... If used, it must be the 'Echo of the Soul.'"

Kenneth continued to think.

He contemplated what he would do.

He believes that Ryo's alchemy would eventually reach his level.

The conclusion reached was to use the Echo of the Soul.

Of course, the Echo of the Soul is 'Abel’s' Echo of the Soul.

And Abel is not here.

Even if Ryo rewrote the magic formula for the Echo of the Soul and sent it out, there would be no one to receive it.

But...

"Indeed, there’s no choice but that."

Kenneth muttered as he looked around.

He spotted Raden, one of his still-dazed subordinates.

"Raden! I will return to the royal capital immediately. You must cooperate with the priests to bring the 'Long-Distance Dispersion Divine Mercy' back to the royal capital!"

"Eh... Ah, yes. Um, what will you do, sir?"

"I will return to the royal capital and make various arrangements to receive communications from your majesty and Ryo-san. I’m counting on you for the 'Long-Distance Dispersion Divine Mercy.'"

With that, Kenneth jumped onto his horse and galloped towards the royal capital.

Almost simultaneously, Sera started to move.

At the moment Ryo and Abel disappeared, she dazedly murmured, "Ryo..."

A few moments later, she regained her senses.

Then, she confirmed something in her heart and whispered.

"I'm okay... I'm okay..."

Nodding vigorously at the end, she looked around.

When she found the person she was looking for, she approached.

It was Queen Rhea.

She was sitting weakly next to a massive alchemy tool.

Kenneth Hayward was fiddling with the giant alchemy tool, likely probing for a reaction from either Abel or Ryo.

That was something he could handle.

Sera moved towards the seated Rhea.

"Rhea."

She called out gently.

She could feel Rhea’s emotions painfully.

If a loved one suddenly disappears before your eyes, anyone would be confused, anxious, and saddened.

"Sera... Abel is... Abel is..."

That was finally the words that came out of Rhea’s mouth.

"Yeah..."

Sera replied with a single word and gently embraced Rhea.

Both were once well-known b-rank adventurers.

The saint and queen, Rhea.

The next representative of the Forest of the West and the most famous elf in the Central Nations, Sera.

Both were renowned figures throughout the Central Nations.

But at the same time, they were women who had lost their loved ones before their eyes.

Rhea cried on Sera's shoulder.

Sera said nothing, did nothing, and simply lent her shoulder.

It wasn’t a long time.

Rhea wiped her tears and spoke.

"Thank you, Sera."

"Don't mention it."

Sera replied and continued speaking.
