Chapter 270: Bonus: [[Interlude]] Celebration of Reaching a Total Rating of 190,000 - A Cool Afternoon on One Day 🌤️

Published: July 3, 2025

Continuing from the previous interlude, this is a face-showing SS featuring the characters from Part Two.

Ah, but still, Part Two will not have a harem development...

“Phew, the curry rice in the royal capital is quite high level, isn’t it?”

For some reason, Ryo has turned into an amateur curry critic, sounding rather self-important.

As promised, after eating curry rice with Prince Willy, he delivered the prince to school and was heading towards the Royal Castle.

That was when he heard a sound.

If Ryo's memory was correct, it was the sound of a sword fight.

However, this was a place close to the Royal Castle, within the royal capital.

The buildings that lined the streets were all noble residences... and all of them belonged to high-ranking nobles, at least earls or above, as he had heard from Abel.

To hide the truth, the residence of Duke Rondo, prepared by Abel, was also in this area.

Sword fight sounds in such an ultra-high-end residential area... It would be understandable if it were nighttime, but it was still one in the afternoon.

At such a time?

“Ah, is it something like sword practice or something?”

Ryo muttered.

Indeed, that seemed plausible.

The sounds were coming from the direction he was walking.

As he turned the corner, he found himself witnessing a sword fight in the street.

It was certainly not a noble sword practice.

A blond youth in his late teens was battling a man in his thirties with chestnut hair.

A little ways off, a man in his mid-twenties was lying on the ground.

Was he dead or just unconscious...?

The two fighters were evenly matched.

There was a slight advantage for the blond youth, but the difference was minor enough that any accident could easily turn the tide.

Ryo would not mind helping, but he didn’t know which one he should assist.

What if he ended up helping the bad guy?

So he decided to leave it to fate.

However, it would be tactless to let any interruptions occur...

(<Passive Sonar>)

As expected, he spotted a man lurking around the opposite corner, ready to shoot an arrow.

(<Icicle Lance>)

“Guh…”

His usual rounded ice spear suddenly materialized right next to the man preparing to shoot, hitting him in the stomach... and he writhed in agony.

“With this, there won’t be any interruptions.”

Ryo muttered and turned his attention back to the sword fight.

Almost simultaneously, the chestnut-haired man's sword flew, and without any hesitation, the blond youth's sword pierced his heart.

Without a moment's hesitation.

“Oh... scary.”

Ryo whispered.

He probably didn’t hear that.

Most likely, he had known since they started fighting.

The blond youth pulled out his sword, turned towards Ryo, and pointed his sword at him.

Most likely asking, “Are you an enemy too?”

Ryo shook his head and said, “I’m just a passing mage.”

After saying that, he slightly bowed his head and began to walk towards the Royal Castle.

“Oh, right. I need to decide on a souvenir to bring when I visit the Forest of the West next week.”

Muttering such things.

Once Ryo was completely out of sight, the blond youth sheathed his sword and walked away.

Ignoring the two corpses and the writhing man.

It was as if he knew exactly what kind of people they were...

The blond youth's silver mantle bore a crest.

Of course, Ryo saw that, but since he had no knowledge of the kingdom's noble crests, he didn’t pay it any mind...

If only there had been someone who understood the kingdom's noble crests, such as Prince Willy, who had eaten curry with him, they might have informed him.

“It’s the crest of the House of Duke Silverdale.”

Furthermore, they might have also informed him about the blond youth.

“Rather than a young man, it’s Lady Face of the House of Duke Silverdale.”

In cases of late teenage boys and girls, it can be quite hard to distinguish between a handsome young man and a beautiful young woman.

The world is complex, and many things are difficult.

For Ryo, what was more pressing than that was deciding what souvenir to take to the Forest of the West...
