Ryo began to run down the street from the Central Sanctuary to the Autonomous Bureau.

Ahead of him, the street was crowded with non-human beings.

Abel and Hero Roman were watching it from the Central Sanctuary.

"Um... Mr. Abel, Ryo just ran off," Roman said.

"Yeah. He probably headed to the elf's Autonomous Bureau," Abel replied.

He answered without any intention of pursuing Ryo.

Seeing this, Roman asked curiously, "Aren't we going to chase after him?"

Abel glanced at Roman and then returned his gaze to Ryo's back.

"Compared to us, Ryo isn't tired at all. In fact, I've never seen him tired..."

"But he was keeping up an ice wall the whole time..."

Roman exclaimed in surprise at Abel's words.

Even though he had been maintaining the ice wall for hours... he realized it as he spoke.

Come to think of it, Ryo had not exhausted his magical power.

Moreover, he still had plenty of energy to run.

"That's right, Ryo is exceptional."

Abel nodded gravely.

Thud.

Then, a heavy object dropped, shaking the surroundings.

It was a continuous sound...

Thud, thud.

"Oh, is that Ryo's specialty, crushing with the ice wall...?"

Abel recalled the ice wall he had seen crushing a golem on their way back from the Forest of Rondo.

He watched with a thought that it was a louder sound than that time.

However, Hero Roman, watching next to him, had a strained expression.

"Mr. Abel... what is that?"

Roman asked simply.

"That's an ice wall. You see, the ice wall that was holding back the abominations earlier. He's generating it in the air and dropping it to crush the abominations. It's simple but terrifying magic," Abel answered.

Knowing very well Ryo's exceptional abilities, he wasn't particularly surprised.

"With this, he can crush a large number of abominations at once... but it can't be used underground. Plus, he's running over the crushed ice... huh? How can he run on the ice? Normally, it would be slippery, right?"

Abel's point of confusion was a bit off from that of an average person.

Of course, this was due to his association with Ryo.

When Ryo arrived at the Autonomous Bureau, all eyes, including those of the abominations, were on him.

Among them, he spotted a platinum-blonde woman kneeling down with her head bowed.

From there, he dove in at supersonic speed, hugging and supporting her.

"Sera!"

"Ryo... you came for me," she replied.

She was conscious.

There were no serious wounds.

However, there were too many cuts.

Ryo pulled a special potion from his bag and brought it to Sera's mouth.

"Sera, potion. Drink."

At that moment, the abominations began to move.

Having lost their leader, the archdevil, many had been crushed by something falling from the sky and were dazed.

But now they were finally coming back to their senses.

Two devils gave commands.

"Shut up."

Ryo spoke in a small voice so as not to startle the Sera he was holding.

"Water Jet 256."

In an instant, the heads of two hundred fifty-six abominations, including the devils, fell.

Then another two hundred fifty-six, and then another two hundred fifty-six...

The non-human beings had their heads cut off one after another before they could even understand what was happening to them.

By the time Sera slowly finished drinking the potion, all the abominations in sight had been decapitated and fallen.

No one spoke at the sight.

Only Sera, held in Ryo's arms, whispered softly in his ear.

"Thank you."

"That was quite a crushing," Abel remarked.

The 'Red Sword' and the 'Hero Party' moved along the ice path created from the Central Sanctuary to the Autonomous Bureau.

"If you don't think about what's beneath this ice, it's a pretty good road..." Lin, the wind attribute mage of the 'Red Sword,' said as she stepped on the path.

The members of the Hero Party remained silent.

Among them, only Abel and Hero Roman had witnessed the sight of the ice falling.

The others had not yet emerged to the surface.

The members of the Red Sword, having some familiarity with Ryo, accepted Abel's explanation...

However, the members of the Hero Party couldn't accept Roman's explanation.

Of course, they knew Roman wouldn't lie.
