Note From Developer: I’m a big fan of Chinese web novels, but I often came across great stories with poor translations. That’s why I started this website! My goal is to make this the best web novel translation site out there. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out on Discord or Instagram.

"Let's sort out the situation."
After Noah's deep-voiced remark, everyone aboard the ship nodded instantly without hesitation. The phrase "let sleeping gods lie" popped into the minds of the hero-summoning group.
Night stayed on deck as a precaution; the rest gathered in a spacious room inside the ship. I would connect with Night via telepathy so she could join the meeting.
"First, the damage to this airship. My assessment is that, depending on the wind direction, we can still reach Demon Clan territory as is... I'm glad this ship floats in the sky. If her name were literal and she floated in the sea, she'd have sunk for sure."
We sighed in relief at Noah's words.
When the attack happened, the non-combatants like Hosoyama had immediately checked the damaged area and been trying to jury-rig repairs. There was a chance a kamikaze wyvern had gotten inside through the hole, but luckily it seems the wyvern exploded and fell into the sea from the impact.
"...Also, I received an apology from Divine Aitel to Princess Amelia."
Apparently Noah had spoken with Amelia while Aitel was possessing her. It's likely Night, who'd been acting strange, was told something by Aitel at the same time.
"I clearly saw and heard what happened while Aitel was using my body. I heard it all, and, as it happens, I only just learned a little about my role as a 'divine child' moments ago."
Darion had mentioned that gods descending through a divine child had so far been limited to Yamato Country. That led other races to mistakenly believe Aitel couldn't leave Yamato Country.
According to Noah, a "divine descent" isn't something done by one person alone; it requires purifying the site, the divine child wearing ceremonial garments and performing a welcoming dance—it's time-consuming and laborious. But Amelia had descended a god without any preparation or purification. Those from this world think Amelia must have compensated with her elf physiology's durability and her immeasurable magical power. In other words, the "divine descent" was an event even Amelia couldn't have predicted.
The Elf race and the Human race seem to have different amounts of information about the "divine child," so some clearing up is necessary. Apparently, Amelia said only the Elves worship Aitel, yet humans are the ones who hear the god's voice and receive oracles. That mismatch likely bred Elf jealousy and spite, causing them to stubbornly cut off information. Even proud Elves can do that, huh.
"So, according to the attacking Demon Clan, the god's kotodama caused the demonic beasts' assault to temporarily stop?"
Noah looked at us for confirmation, and we nodded.
"Indeed. Darion at least said he wouldn't fight until we disembark. He told the beasts the same."
"I see. Then at least for one day we might not need to worry about the monsters. Depending on how cautious they are, they might not attack until we leave the ship."
In short: the prearranged shifts would be easier for now.
"Before anything else, we need to align our common sense and knowledge."
When asked how to spend the freed time, Noah answered with a serious expression.
Before I could ask what she meant by "common sense," Noah turned toward the heroes.
"You kids—except Akira—are all young. You don't know about Aitel, do you? More than that, your grasp of this world's common knowledge is probably vague. Hey, Zeal-boy, you were supposed to be the initial leader, weren't you? What have you been doing? It's rare to see such naivety these days."
Noah's stare made Mr. Zeal give a wry smile and look away.
I could tell the word "naive" stung the heroes more than it looked.
"Well, at that time Lord Reytis ordered that no information be given to the hero summoners. Besides, it was just when the knights were planning a coup."
Come to think of it, Commander Saran had told me that the king, devastated by the queen's death, had planned to sacrifice many lives to revive her, which led the knights to plot a coup.
"So you obediently obeyed the ban on entering the archive room and delayed your initial actions in this world?"
