Chapter 5972: "Can't Survive Three Days" ⏳

Published: March 14, 2025

The abyss behemoth slowly approached Mo Li, whose aura had weakened significantly, lacking any trace of the divine emperor’s deterrent power and failing to intimidate the creature.

It cautiously drew closer to Mo Li, feeling confused about the figure lying there. Typically, weaker prey would be frightened and flee from it, while those capable of opposing it would engage in battle. However, encountering something like Mo Li, lying still, was a first for it.

Could this be dead meat?

The abyss behemoth shook its head, inching closer. It was suspicious; such fragrant meat shouldn’t be dead!

Unable to resist, it poked Mo Li with its head, jostling him a few times, and the rancid slime dripping from its mouth nearly made Mo Li retch.

“Get lost.”

Mo Li wanted to roar, but could only produce a sound as faint as a mosquito's buzz, which startled the abyss behemoth, realizing that this was a living creature.

Unfortunately, it was a living creature that couldn't move. Now, the abyss behemoth felt reassured, opened its mouth wide, and took a bite at Mo Li.

With a crack, the abyss behemoth yelped and jumped back, shocked to find its teeth shattered, revealing a clear human-shaped gap.

Such delicious food, yet so hard?

The abyss behemoth grimaced in pain, baring its teeth while staring intently at Mo Li. It had no idea that even though Mo Li couldn’t move now, his body, with the peak mid-stage divine emperor’s physique, was not something just any behemoth could consume.

“Damn it! You dare bite me? Just wait; I’ll crush you!”

Mo Li felt a surge of anger, thinking it absurd that an abyss behemoth would dare to provoke him.

Just when he thought the behemoth might retreat, it suddenly opened its mouth wide and, with a growl, gulped him down whole.

“Ugh!”

Inside the behemoth’s mouth, Mo Li was overwhelmed by the stench, almost vomiting. Before he could fully react—

Puff!

Mo Li was instantly thrown into a pitch-black cave, surrounded by endless folds and acidic liquid pressing against him. Clearly, he had entered the belly of the abyss behemoth.

“Damn it, I got swallowed by a beast?”

Mo Li was stunned, always having been the one to devour others, but today, he was the one swallowed by a behemoth.

However, he felt no fear. The endless gastric juices surrounded him, and the wrinkles of the gastric mucosa pressed against him, filled with the deep-sea's unique Power of the Dao suppressing him. However, with Mo Li's current strength, even the high-dimensional pollution of the abyss couldn’t easily harm him. This kind of digestion felt like a tickle.

Lying in the behemoth's gastric juices was akin to soaking in a hot bath.

On the other hand, the abyss behemoth struggled, feeling uncomfortable due to its inability to digest, so it started running quickly to accelerate the process.

Mo Li swayed in the gastric fluid, though he felt no particular pain, his face was filled with indignation.

“Here I am, a peak mid-stage divine emperor, the protagonist of this generation in the cosmic sea, and I might end up being excreted as dung by this abyss behemoth just because it couldn’t digest me?”

Thinking of the potential scenario, his face turned green with shame and anger. If Qin Mo Head found out about this, he’d never be able to hold his head high again.

He could only seize the moment to cultivate and heal his injuries; who knew what situation awaited him after this?

While he pondered, a blurry female voice echoed in Mo Li's ears, “Miss, there’s a sickle beast here.”

Then came the booming sounds of battle.

Mo Li instantly felt a swirl of discomfort, sensing that some kind of fight was happening outside. The abyss behemoth kept running and roaring, followed by a shrill cry from it as it crashed heavily to the ground, falling silent.

“Serves you right for swallowing me.” Mo Li felt uncomfortable inside the sickle beast but was immensely relieved that he wouldn’t be expelled from this beast in such a disgraceful manner.

He at least managed to save some face.
