Although South Source is the closest city to the Southern Thirteen Star Domain, the journey remains quite distant. Even with Saroya's speed, it would take considerable time to reach.
Fortunately, Qin Chen didn't need to rush. Instead, he was carefully sensing the laws of the universe and the various pathways within the cosmic sea.
“The space is incredibly solid.” Qin Chen extended his right hand, lightly sensing it, before suddenly slicing downward.

Around him, the void rippled under Qin Chen's terrifying palm as if a stone had been thrown into a lake, causing devastating waves that spread in all directions, forming a terrifying force of destruction.
Saroya, who was flying swiftly, was startled, thinking a strong enemy was approaching. Only upon seeing that Qin Chen was merely testing the strength of the void did he breathe a sigh of relief, though his eyes still twitched.
This was the void of the cosmic sea, immensely solid. Normally, a great emperor could not tear apart the void of the cosmic sea. At least among the komodo beast clan, only the elders at the pinnacle of great emperor realm could possibly tear it slightly apart with their innate divine abilities.
Yet now, Qin Chen was effortlessly stirring up such dreadful ripples with just a casual motion. This level of power was at least comparable to that of a late-stage great emperor.
“Could this lord be a late-stage great emperor?” Saroya speculated. Having been in contact with Qin Chen for a while, he felt that the aura of cultivation around him wasn't particularly terrifying.
However, based on his father Pan Gu La's earlier demeanor upon arrival, the uniqueness exhibited by Lord Qin Chen was not even inferior to his father.
This left Saroya with only one impression of Qin Chen: mysterious.
“No matter what, this lord's background must be extremely special. Following him, my future is likely to undergo extraordinary changes,” Saroya silently affirmed, feeling assured as they continued their journey.
Qin Chen, of course, was unaware of the myriad thoughts swirling in Saroya's mind; he was engrossed in appreciating the solid space around him.
“With just a light wave of my hand, even using less than one percent of my strength, I am merely able to stir up small ripples. It seems the solidity of space in the Southern Cosmic Sea is indeed far greater than that of the Southern Thirteen Star Domain,” Qin Chen marveled internally, silently assessing the strength of the space around him.
Countless spatial rules emerged in his mind, like a giant net that he gradually began to comprehend.
Having inherited the legacy of the Emperor of Void Annihilation, his understanding of the path of space in the cosmic sea was already exceedingly profound. As he entered the cosmic sea, he immediately began to grasp the many rules present.
Additionally, the laws of time here were distinctly different from those in the Primordial Universe.
In the Primordial Universe, Qin Chen could even reverse the flow of time. However, in this cosmic sea, affecting the flow rate of time was far more challenging than in the Primordial Universe.
“However, the laws of the universe here are extraordinarily clear. Compared to my observations of the cosmic sea laws in the Primordial Universe, it's at least ten times clearer,” Qin Chen expressed his surprise.
The Primordial Universe was merely an original universe birthed from the cosmic sea, while the vast cosmic sea was the true expanse. Only by thoroughly mastering the countless laws of the cosmic sea could one further enhance their cultivation and step into even higher realms.
“If I had come to the cosmic sea earlier, I might have broken through to great emperor level even faster,” Qin Chen thought silently.
However, he quickly shook his head.
“Cultivation level is not everything. In the words of the Ancient Emperor Senior, everything I experienced in the Primordial Universe and the Underworld is the true foundation of my growth; nothing was wasted.”
With a solid foundation, one could build a higher structure.
