This cursed place, I finally see people from the Underworld again.
Before me are two transcendents. The one in front is of medium build with a dark complexion, looking quite capable. He wields a pitch-black large blade that appears extremely menacing, resembling a ghostly head, emanating a chilling Underworld energy that makes one’s heart tremble.
The other, a first layer peak transcendent, is much more sinister, with ghostly energy swirling around him. There’s even a trace of poison on his forehead, making him appear even more vicious than Elder Vulture.
In terms of appearance, both of them are extremely ugly, but at this moment, they suddenly seem very friendly in Qin Chen's eyes. Originally, the two transcendents were in pursuit of something, but upon seeing the Dead Sea Spring Eye before them, they immediately halted their battle, their gazes converging on the surging black water column in front of Qin Chen, revealing shock in their eyes.
"Kid, I didn't expect you to be so lucky to discover the Dead Sea spring water! Speak, how did you find this Dead Sea Spring Eye? When I passed by earlier, there was nothing here. Why has the Dead Sea Spring Eye suddenly appeared?"
The first to speak was the first layer peak transcendent, his eyes gleaming with joy as he looked at the gushing spring water, speaking to Qin Chen in a gloomy tone, with terrifying ghostly energy swirling around him.
"How I discovered the Dead Sea Spring Eye has nothing to do with you," Qin Chen replied indifferently.
The transcendent wielding the pitch-black large blade suddenly frowned at Qin Chen, for he felt not an ounce of fear in Qin Chen's gaze.
Hearing Qin Chen's words, the first layer peak transcendent instantly flew into a rage. Seeing Qin Chen so young, he naturally assumed Qin Chen's cultivation was ordinary. He never expected this guy would dare speak to him like that.
"You have guts! Do you know who I am? How dare you speak to me like that! Originally, I was going to spare your life since you provided such a great gift, letting you follow me. Since you seek death, then I shall fulfill your wish."
The first layer peak transcendent's expression darkened, too lazy to waste more words. He immediately summoned a black light that shot directly towards Qin Chen's head.
Qin Chen sneered inwardly; it was evident that there were no rules in the Underworld—strength was the only authority.
However, for just a mere first layer peak transcendent to attack him was undoubtedly too naive. Qin Chen sneered coldly, just as he was about to make a move, a shadow suddenly appeared before him.
"Bastard! Dare to attack Young Master Chen? Arrogance!"
Accompanying this shadow was an angry shout, and then Qin Chen heard a loud boom as the shadow collided violently with the black light.
In the fierce collision, countless ghostly energies surged, and the black light seemed to strike an indestructible underworld iron, emitting a sharp buzzing sound before it was suddenly repelled.
The black light stabilized in mid-air and it turned out to be a broken spear, with black light swirling around it, runes flickering, radiating an icy cold aura.
And blocking this spear was naturally the Ten Thousand Bones Underworld Ancestor.
"Hiss! Young Master Chen, this treasure is powerful; it hurt this subordinate. But rest assured, for Young Master Chen, this subordinate would venture into the Yellow Springs or descend into the Nine Hells without flinching," the Ten Thousand Bones Underworld Ancestor stated solemnly.
It was he who acted first, blocking the attack aimed at Qin Chen.
Qin Chen was immediately speechless.
The Ten Thousand Bones Underworld Ancestor was a proper third layer peak transcendent, and the Ten Thousand Underworld Luminous Bones were top treasures of the Underworld. How could he possibly be injured by a mere first layer peak transcendent?
Couldn’t he at least pretend to be a little less pathetic?
"Mm?"
Qin Chen remained speechless, while the attacking first layer peak transcendent was startled, his gaze fixated on the hovering Skeleton Crystal, a hint of shock surfacing in his heart.
