Chapter 3882: You Are Not a Human Sovereign 😌

Published: January 3, 2025

“Ha ha, is this your attack?”

Amidst the endless lightning, a mocking voice resounded.

“What?”

Everyone, including Yin Hai Earth Venerable, was stunned.

Everyone thought that after the arc of lightning, Qin Chen would have been reduced to ashes; even if there was anything left, it would just be some gray ash.

However, after the dazzling lightning arc struck, everyone's eyes widened. As the arc dissipated, Qin Chen, beneath the massive lightning, simply brushed off the dust on his body, or perhaps swatted away a fly, with an utterly relaxed expression.

But was there even a speck of dust on him?

Not to mention dust, even his clothes had not a single wrinkle, and his hair was not even a bit out of place.

Not only was Qin Chen unharmed, but even Mo Li and Chi Yan Demon Lord were also safe and sound.

In that instant, the scene fell into silence.

The power of the lightning arc unleashed by Yin Hai Earth Venerable had been witnessed by all; no one dared to believe they could dodge it without a scratch, not even a wrinkle on their clothes.

It was safe to say that everyone believed they could not accomplish that.

Yet Qin Chen had done it; he hadn’t summoned a Venerable treasure, nor made any obvious movements, simply standing there without moving at all to block such a terrifying attack.

The corners of the eyes of those around like Bone Earth Venerable twitched; he realized he might have underestimated Qin Chen. Qin Chen was even more formidable than he had imagined, or rather, vastly more powerful.

Mo Li and Chi Yan Demon Lord were equally astonished. They understood that their safety was entirely because Qin Chen had absorbed the majority of the lightning attacks, meaning Qin Chen's strength greatly surpassed their expectations.

The many Earth Venerables present were filled with dread; no wonder this True Dragon Clan fellow dared to meddle in the competition for the Chaos Fruit, he indeed had this confidence.

Including Bone Earth Venerable and others, their gazes turned sharp. Though they prided themselves on being able to withstand Yin Hai Earth Venerable's lightning attacks, they questioned whether they could compare to Qin Chen. Under such a terrifying lightning arc, Qin Chen stood still, without even a wrinkle in his clothes—could an ordinary Venerable achieve this?

Even a peak Earth Venerable wouldn’t dare to be so arrogant, right?

What kind of freak was this guy?

For a moment, the scene was eerily silent.

The silence was due to the fact that what Qin Chen had done was simply something that a Human Venerable could not accomplish. This was even a presence that surpassed an Earth Venerable, or perhaps even more terrifying.

Yin Hai Earth Venerable was equally shocked; he had never seen anyone who could remain unscathed under their lightning pearl without moving or blocking.

So he was almost frozen in place. Was this something a Human Venerable could do?

Even a peak Earth Venerable wouldn’t be able to manage, right?

In an instant, however, he reacted; his back was already drenched in cold sweat.

Before he could retreat, Qin Chen coldly mocked, “You think you can back off after hitting me with lightning?

Dream on…”

Before Qin Chen could finish his sentence, he felt a movement in his heart. The power of lightning surged within him, and with a flick of his hand, a lightning attack was unleashed, but he had only summoned a lightning arc sword.

A lightning arc sword as thick as an adult's arm, and as dark as ink, it was the attack Qin Chen released after absorbing Yin Hai Earth Venerable’s lightning attack and activating his lightning bloodline.

With the booming thunder and flickering electric light, the lightning arc sword was about to fall upon Yin Hai Earth Venerable.

A sense of impending doom washed over him. In a panic, Yin Hai Earth Venerable even neglected to retrieve his lightning treasure to defend himself.

He only knew he had to dodge this lightning arc sword; although it had not yet struck him, he already knew he could not withstand its might.
