“Let’s go out for a walk.”
Qin Chen and You Qianxue left the room and stepped outside to observe the battleship.
The entire battleship was incredibly large, with many martial artists busy with their respective tasks. The vast majority were operating the battleship because the energy consumption required for its flight was immense. Although there were ample Holy Veins powering it, relying solely on them consumed a great deal and lacked flexibility.
Therefore, at every moment, nearly half of the people on the battleship were engaged in powering it. They could do this from their rooms or even specialized array rooms to provide sufficient energy for the battleship.
Of course, Qin Chen and the others naturally didn't need to do so.
Besides powering the battleship, there were many facilities on board, including training rooms, entertainment rooms, dining halls, and various conference rooms—everything one could need.
However, the most critical place was still the control room located at the rear of the battleship. This was where the most vital control systems were housed, as well as where the top-tier cargo was stored.
Qin Chen observed the battleship carefully. If Chen Di Pavilion owned several of these battleships, trading in the void would become much more convenient. Not to mention crossing the Void Tide Sea, even trading and migrating within the Eastern Heavenly Realm would greatly improve efficiency and speed.
Once these battleships were activated, their speed could rival that of a late-stage Saint Master, and their defensive capabilities were formidable as well. The key point was that they only required sufficient energy to operate, and it was not necessary to have such powerful individuals stationed there, which was undoubtedly the best scenario for the black slaves.
If they placed a few late-stage Saint Masters on board, the speed could be even faster.
If Chen Di Pavilion had several such battleships, they could traverse the entire Eastern Heavenly Realm with ease, conducting business anywhere without worry.
The more Qin Chen looked, the more surprised he became. However, creating such a battleship was extremely difficult; it was clearly not the work of an individual Refiner but at least the product of some ancient top-tier refining force, akin to Tian Gong, created collectively by many refiners.
This was because the entire battleship was too complex; many components needed to perfectly integrate, which was not easily achievable.
As Qin Chen walked along the ship's rail, observing everything around him, he silently noted everything in his mind. The structure of this battleship was familiar to him; given some time, he could replicate the arrays and runes inside, with the only complexities being the materials and the engineering.
Due to the numerous aspects involved, if Qin Chen were to refine this alone, it would consume a massive amount of time, significantly reducing his training time, leading to a situation that was not worth the cost.
“If only Chen Di Pavilion had a few such battleships, wouldn’t we have no worries about going to other places?”
You Qianxue also sighed, clearly understanding Qin Chen's intentions as she silently accompanied him through the cabin.
Along the way, all the members of the Qingxue family who saw Qin Chen respectfully bowed, their expressions revealing gratitude.
Clearly, they all knew that Qin Chen and You Qianxue had saved them.
“These Qingxue family members are quite admirable.”
You Qianxue remarked, noting how disciplined they were, their eyes reflecting a sense of spirit. When they saw them, they bowed respectfully, yet didn’t say much; that gratitude was heartfelt, making one feel very comfortable.
Soon, Qin Chen and You Qianxue arrived at the core area of the battleship. Beyond this was the control system, the heart of the battleship.
At the entrance, a few experts from the Qingxue family stood guard. Upon seeing Qin Chen and You Qianxue, they first expressed their gratitude and bowed, saying, “Two esteemed seniors, this is the control core of the battleship, so…”
