Chapter 3384: Familiar Aura 🌌

Published: January 1, 2025

Mo Li's eyes held a hint of reminiscence as he recalled the scene when he first entered the Demon Realm's Fallen God Demon Domain. It was truly a past he did not want to remember, a perilous place where he nearly met his end several times. Yet, finding Chi Yan made it the happiest time of his life.

The Fallen God Demon Domain was extremely dangerous, a place of last resort for many of the demon race. Monsters roamed everywhere, with danger at every turn, though countless opportunities and a variety of demon medicines grew abundantly.

There, he received the Legacy of a Saint Master from the demon race and became a demon alchemist.

Everyone believed he was from the Saint Demon Tribe, but in reality, though he had joined the demon path, mastering their laws and powers, becoming indistinguishable from them, his soul's essence was born on the Tian Wu Continent, bearing both human and demon traits.

Using this unique talent, he carved an unprecedented path in the field of demon alchemy.

Meeting Chi Yan, whose control over fire powers greatly aided him, they supported each other through thick and thin, reaching where they were today.

Looking back, it all seemed like a dream.

Mo Li couldn't help but sigh softly, "Yes, as long as we are together, whether it's the Celestial Realm, the Demon Realm, or even the Tian Wu Continent, anywhere is paradise."

Although Mo Li was born in the lower plane of the Tian Wu Continent, his life was fraught with hardships. Clearly human, he was told he was a descendant of the Demon Tribe in the Heavenly Demon Secret Realm and was appointed as the young master of the Blood Demon Sect by the Skeleton Helm Master.

Later, he experienced crises on the Tian Wu Continent, chaos among the Demon Tribe, and even visitors from the Celestial Realm. They fought desperately, and while not entirely for the Tian Wu Continent, in some sense, they defended it against external threats.

Now, having arrived in the Celestial Realm, being together was the greatest happiness for them.

"Li, I hope we can continue like this forever. Now that we're in the Celestial Realm, we don't know anyone here. None of this concerns us," Chi Yan said softly.

"Speaking of familiar faces, I think I sensed something familiar here earlier," Mo Li suddenly frowned.

Chi Yan was surprised. "A familiar sensation?"

He sniffed the air and frowned as well. "Why do I feel a vague unease? But we have no acquaintances in this Celestial Realm."

Mo Li frowned, about to speak, when a master from the Moon Demon Tribe approached. "You two, it's time to depart."

Mo Li and Chi Yan interrupted their conversation and stood on the cushions to begin the teleportation.

Soon, the stone chamber, once crowded, became empty again, as if it had been desolate since ancient times.

Qin Chen, unaware that his two old acquaintances had arrived here, found himself in a stone chamber after entering the inheritance passage.

The stone chamber was incredibly vast and empty, without even the cushions present in the previous chamber.

Qin Chen frowned, knowing that he had been brought here for a purpose. He immediately spread his senses to explore the surroundings.

Sure enough, he discovered some clues.

The stone chamber was actually a terrifying array. The level of this array was extraordinary; even with Qin Chen's array skills, he couldn't fully comprehend its structure immediately.

Boom!

Just as Qin Chen was figuring out the array's structure, the great array began to operate slowly. In the next moment, a terrifying fiery aura rose from the stone chamber.

Whoosh!

The fiery aura quickly spread throughout the stone chamber, wrapping around Qin Chen.

"Jie jie jie!"

Simultaneously, a cold laugh echoed within the flames.

"Young man, I didn't expect you to choose the path of inheritance. It seems you are an alchemist as well. Anyone other than an alchemist choosing this path is seeking their own death."

"This Venerable is truly delighted. After countless millennia, someone has finally come to gain my inheritance. I don't even know what year it is in the Celestial Realm now. Endless years have completely worn away my soul, leaving only this consciousness to maintain this place's operation. If a few more millennia pass, perhaps I wouldn't have waited for an heir."
