Qin Chen moved quickly, traversing between the various royal-level forces of the Northern Sky Domain.
What reassured Qin Chen was that although the Alchemy Pavilion had been attacked by the Demon Tribe, many royal-level forces in the Northern Sky Domain remained safe and sound. Clearly, the army of the Demon Tribe did not have enough manpower to launch attacks on every single force in the Northern Sky Domain.
On his journey, Qin Chen also encountered small groups of the Demon Tribe, all of which he directly annihilated without any hesitation.
Any foreign race deserves to die.
“Up ahead, it should be Yao Jian City.”
After passing more than ten royal-level forces, Qin Chen suddenly raised his head, looking towards the horizon in the distance. He remembered that tens of thousands of miles ahead was where Yao Jian City of the Northern Sky Domain was located.
Yao Jian City.
Qin Chen murmured to himself.
That was also a place that held his memories.
He recalled everything that happened in Yao Jian City; it was where he first met Ji Ruyue and Chen Sisi, but now, Sisi... Qin Chen felt a pain in his heart.
However, he did not have much time to grieve; he carried too many responsibilities on his shoulders.
“Back then in Yao Jian City, within the Yao Jian Tower, there was an alien demon sword; I wonder what happened to that sword?”
Qin Chen's gaze turned cold. He clearly remembered everything he experienced back then, including seeing the corpse of the Supreme Sword Emperor Chu Xiaoyun on the seventh floor of Yao Jian City and knowing that the demon sword within the Yao Jian Tower was something from a foreign race.
Back then, Qin Chen and Ji Ruyue nearly fell there. If it weren't for the mysterious rusted sword's power, they likely would have died.
If that demon sword truly was left behind by a powerful ancient being of the Demon Tribe, Qin Chen could not allow it to remain; he must destroy it.
“Demon Sword!”
Qin Chen whispered.
“Go!”
He then coldly shouted, leading Mo Yuan and Bai towards Yao Jian City.
At this moment inside Yao Jian City, many powerful figures from the Yao Jian Sect were urgently gathering.
“Everyone listen up, the Demon Tribe is attacking our Northern Sky Domain. You all need to evacuate quickly.”
The Grand Elder of the Yao Jian Sect said with a solemn voice. They had naturally received news about the current situation in the Northern Sky Domain and were not daring to be careless; they were urgently preparing to evacuate.
“Grand Elder, what about the other civilians in Yao Jian City?”
An elder inquired.
“Other civilians? What does it matter to us?”
One elder shouted angrily, “Third Elder, from what we know, many forces in the Northern Sky Domain have already fallen. Even if we resist, how long can we hold out?”
“But... are we really going to abandon them?”
The Third Elder's body still trembled a bit.
“Take care of yourself.”
The elder coldly responded, turning to the Grand Elder, “Grand Elder, please give the order quickly; we must evacuate now.”
“Sigh!”
The Grand Elder sighed. In fact, he did not wish to leave the Yao Jian Sect, but the current Yao Jian Sect was no longer what it once was. The Ancestor, the Wind and Cloud Sword Emperor, and Lord Yan Shijiu were killed in Dan City for slandering the Holy Son Qin Chen.
Now the Yao Jian Sect had lost its former glory. If not for him and the two other top talents, Xu Yan and Leng Xingfeng, holding down the fort, Yao Jian City would have likely changed hands long ago.
With the situation in the Northern Sky Domain changing drastically, staying any longer would only lead to death.
“Let’s go.”
The Grand Elder sighed again, about to turn away when he suddenly frowned and asked, “By the way, where are Xu Yan and Leng Xingfeng?”
Xu Yan and Leng Xingfeng were the top talents who entered the Yao Jian Tower with Qin Chen and reached the fifth floor; they were the four prominent disciples of the Yao Jian Sect. Shui Leqing was killed by Qin Chen, and Han Li was executed by the Law Enforcement Hall on Ji Ruyue's orders for framing Qin Chen. However, Xu Yan and Leng Xingfeng had survived and had become the pillars of the Yao Jian Sect after the Yao Jian inheritance.
