“Where is this?”
Qin Chen looked curiously at his surroundings. He was deep underground in the headquarters of the Bloodline Sacred Land, and presented before everyone was an extremely bizarre passageway.
At the entrance of the passage was an exceedingly complex stone door, surrounded by unique powers of bloodline that flickered continuously, emanating profound mysteries.
“Old Fu, where does this place lead?” Qin Chen asked, confused.
In his previous life, he was also an honorary elder of the Bloodline Sacred Land, yet he had never heard of such a place.
Fu Qiankun smiled bitterly, “I don’t know where this place leads either. I only know that this is a secret known only to the presidents of our Bloodline Sacred Land throughout the generations. Only the presidents are aware of this place.”
His expression turned serious, “As the president of the Bloodline Sacred Land, after taking over from the previous president, I was entrusted with a responsibility: to guard this place and ensure that no one can destroy it. This is even more important than our lives.”
“However, I was quite curious in the past. In fact, aside from the past presidents, no one else in the Bloodline Sacred Land, nor any outsiders, even knew of this place. So why does it need to be guarded?”
Qin Chen nodded; indeed, outsiders had no idea of this place, let alone guarding it.
“But when I was brought to the Piao Miao Palace by Shangguan Xi’er and was tortured, that Demon Tribe soul master even tried to seize my body several times, just to find out if our Bloodline Sacred Land had a mysterious place. That’s when I realized that this place might truly hide some great secret.”
Fu Qiankun’s gaze flickered.
“Shangguan Xi’er actually knows about this place, and is determined to unravel its mystery?”
Qin Chen was also surprised. He looked towards the stone door ahead, his heart racing. Could it be that this was the origin of heaven and earth?
If so, they would have struck it rich.
Otherwise, he couldn’t understand why Shangguan Xi’er was racking her brains to find out the location of this place and wanted to enter it.
But if this truly was the origin of heaven and earth, how did Shangguan Xi’er know about it?
Various doubts left Qin Chen baffled and unable to understand.
“Old Fu, since this place is indeed the secret guarded by your Bloodline Sacred Land, you bringing me here shouldn’t be a problem, right?” Qin Chen said with a smile.
“What could be wrong?” Fu Qiankun shook his head. “This secret, according to the regulations of our Bloodline Sacred Land, can only be known by the past presidents. Since that’s the case, I appoint you as the next president of our Bloodline Sacred Land. As for Gu Zunren…”
He glanced at Gu Zunren, “This person is your attendant, and his life and death are in your control. He can be considered one of us, so there’s no need to stand on ceremony.”
Fu Qiankun was quite flexible and not rigid, which left Qin Chen speechless.
Of course, Qin Chen was just joking and didn’t truly want to leave.
“Young Master Chen, step back a bit.”
Fu Qiankun’s expression turned serious, and then he pressed his hands against the stone door.
Buzz!
Suddenly, an eerie power spread out, enveloping the entire stone door. The stone door glimmered with colors, and blood-colored runes flickered, intertwining various powers like a password, slowly opening.
This rune power was very special; even with Qin Chen’s array and forbidden techniques, he couldn’t figure it out, leaving him greatly astonished.
His current array and forbidden techniques had already reached the holy level, yet he couldn’t discern the opening mechanism of this stone door. What kind of powerful being had created this stone door?
Under Fu Qiankun’s activation, a whirlpool-like passage slowly appeared, and a vast power transmitted from behind the stone door.
“Let’s go!”
Fu Qiankun led the way, and Qin Chen along with Gu Zunren instantly swept into the whirlpool.
