Chapter 1993: Locking Thunder Formation ⚡️

Published: November 30, -0001

The Thunder Sea continued to roar as always. Qin Chen stood before it for a long time without moving. He didn't take anything from the deceased martial artist, not even the storage ring or the battle sword. He only noticed the word "Rong" on the sword's hilt.

This could be the name of this Martial God, or it might hold special significance for him, but now, none of that matters anymore.

A Martial God of the early stage died inexplicably in this Thunder Sea. Perhaps he was a person of great fame during his lifetime, someone who was dominant in a certain region, exuding majesty. Perhaps people were waiting for his return, but now he perished in this endless Thunder Sea. If Qin Chen's group hadn't seen him, perhaps no one would ever know of his death.

This also served as a stern warning for Qin Chen and his companions to be extremely cautious here.

"In this place, besides the terrifying power of thunder, maintaining a strong will is crucial. Countless martial artists fall here every year because of this. Therefore, if you ever find yourself unable to hold on, you mustn't push forward but rather calm your mind and dispel distractions," Qin Chen said silently.

You Qianxue and Ji Ruyue finally understood the terror of the Thunder Sea. This place, while an excellent training ground, was also a perilous forbidden area. In the Martial Domain, none of the major forbidden areas were easy to deal with.

"However, this place isn't particularly deep yet. Given this person's Martial God cultivation, he shouldn't have been able to lose himself. What exactly happened to him?" Fu Qiankun suddenly voiced his doubt.

Qin Chen's face showed a trace of puzzlement.

The place they had reached wasn't particularly deep. While Martial Emperors might find it challenging, Martial Gods shouldn't lose themselves to the point of completely losing their sense of self.

As they ventured further into the Thunder Sea, they all felt a faint call echoing in their ears. It was like the roaring of thunder in the sea, or the wailing of a despairing soul deep in the infernal sea. After advancing for half a day, they began to understand why that person had gotten lost in the Thunder Sea. The invisible bewildering force within the Thunder Sea was several times stronger than when they had first entered.

If one were to walk here alone, over time, the feeling of loneliness and helplessness would gradually consume one's mind. The longer one stayed, the deeper the feeling grew. If one didn't resolve it, even the most steadfast person would eventually lose themselves in this Thunder Sea.

However, Qin Chen’s group of four was fine. This level of sensation couldn't affect their perception.

"I wonder if the changes in the Thunder Sea are related to that spatial seal," a thought emerged in Qin Chen's mind but was quickly dismissed.

After half a day, Qin Chen and his group finally arrived at a location. It was a vast Thunder Sea, with endless thunderlight surging and transforming into raging dragons, roaring.

This was a place where the thunderlight was extremely chaotic in the Thunder Sea, but to Qin Chen, it was one of the best training grounds.

"I plan to train here. You can also find your own training spots based on your situation," he said after discussing with Fu Qiankun and the others. Qin Chen then entered the thunderlight.

Immediately, the terrifying thunderlight struck Qin Chen's body, causing him to feel a tingling sensation all over. The thunderlight surged into his body, causing the blood throughout his body to boil.

"What a monster," Fu Qiankun thought, initially wanting to enter this thunderstorm to train as well. However, he quickly retreated after entering briefly.

Though stronger than Qin Chen, Fu Qiankun hadn't trained in the Immortal Holy Body nor had a thunder bloodline, so his resistance to thunder wasn't necessarily stronger than Qin Chen's. He could only find another place to train.

As for You Qianxue and Ji Ruyue, they couldn't enter the thunderstorm either. Restricted by their cultivation, their training spots were gentler compared to Fu Qiankun's.
