Note From Developer: I’m a big fan of Chinese web novels, but I often came across great stories with poor translations. That’s why I started this website! My goal is to make this the best web novel translation site out there. If you have any suggestions or feedback, feel free to reach out on Discord or Instagram.

â—‡
I tied the hands of the young man who had just shoved the demonic beast onto us behind his back and covered his mouth with a cloth, then brought him to the deepest part of the dungeon.
It seemed all the demonic beasts from the twenty-second floor had been gathered to us, and since then, we had hardly encountered any others as we made our way here.
Since I was able to turn all the demonic beasts on the twenty-second floor into magic stones in such a short time, maybe I should be grateful to this guy.
The deepest area was an open space like a boss arena. Besides us, there were nine people dressed as seekers.
“Heath!”
The bearded man in his forties standing in the middle of the group called out when he saw the restrained young man.
Apparently, this guy who had tried to dump the demonic beasts on us was named Heath.
“Are you all allies of this person?”
I pointed at Heath and asked the group.
“Yeah, that’s right. Hey, kid. You’re ready to rough up one of my comrades, aren’t you?”
The bearded man who had just spoken returned in a low voice with a fixed glare.
“He was the one who made the first move. He maliciously forced demonic beasts onto us, right? It’s only natural to restrain him for self-defense.”
“Hah, don’t spout nonsense. You really expect us to believe such a ridiculous excuse?”
“Orun, let’s just cut them all down. It’s a waste of time to talk to scum like this.”
Fuuka, whose expression rarely changed, furrowed her brows slightly and reached for her sword.
“Wait, Fuuka. Give me a little more time.”
I stopped her just as she was about to strike.
Even if we decide to kill them, it’s better to get some information first.
I want to know why they hold such hostility towards us.
We will continue to conquer dungeons in various places.
We don’t want to face the same kind of obstruction every time.
If it’s a problem we can nip in the bud beforehand, we should deal with it.
“So confident, huh? Cool, Tsutolairu’s seekers!”
The man shouted again, apparently displeased with my words.
“Tsutolairu’s seekers,” huh.
Come to think of it, Heath called us that when he tried to shove the demonic beasts on us.
“Apologies for my comrade. Let’s cut to the chase since this is troublesome. Why do you all view us with such hostility?”
“Huh? You don’t even know that?”
“Yes. So please tell us. It’s better if we can resolve this through dialogue.”
The man’s body trembled, and his face quickly reddened.
Although I said it to provoke him, he was angrier than I expected.
“You’re a bunch of annoying bastards... Fine! Die, Tsutolairu’s seekers!”
The bearded man shouted, grabbing a large axe.
The other eight followed suit, each taking up their weapons.
They crossed the final line.
Confirming they were ready for battle, I immediately amplified the gravity around them using my gravity manipulation.
“—Gah! What, what is this...?”
The man collapsed face down on the ground, exclaiming in surprise.
The others were also either face down or on one knee, barely enduring, unable to move freely.
“Mr. Haruto, are there any others of their comrades lurking nearby?”
“No. I scouted all around this floor, and all of them are here.”
“Got it. Thanks, Mr. Haruto.”
I thanked Haruto and grabbed Heath’s collar, who had been trying to make sounds like “nngh! nngh!” for a while, and walked over to the group with him.
He was struggling desperately, but he couldn’t overcome the power of my activated qi, so the resistance was minimal.
When we got close to those who couldn’t move, I yanked Heath’s collar hard.
He stumbled and stepped into the area with amplified gravity, fell, and became immobile.
“You were the first to reach for your weapons. I’ll let you off with this for now. Now, I’ll ask again: why do you view us with such hostility?”
They are my enemies once they drew weapons, but Fuuka was the first to make a move.
If they confess honestly, I have no intention of hurting them further.
I do need to warn them so they don’t go berserk and seek revenge later.
