Chapter 103: Side Luna: Queen of the Fairies 👑

Published: January 22, 2026

Mr. Oliver suddenly crouched down and began to suffer after seeing the golden magic stone-like object summoned by Marquis Forgus.

“Mr. Oliver! What’s wrong!? Are you okay!?”

I quickly cast Healing, but it had no effect at all.

“Is this… mana…?”

A dense flow of mana was leaking from Mr. Oliver’s suffering body.

As a byproduct of my supernatural ability, I’m sensitive to mana.

I can sense even the slightest flow of mana, but this concentration is so intense that anyone might notice.

“You did this, Clive Forgus.”

Ms. Philly muttered with anger in her voice.

Is this really the same Philly we knew?

She bears no resemblance to the person who was with us just yesterday.

“I will remain the victor! Even you can’t beat Oliver with his power unleashed! Now, Oliver! Defeat this woman!”

What is the Marquis talking about?

Looking at Mr. Oliver now, how does he think he can fight?

There’s no way he’s in any condition to fight.

“…I have to change the plan.”

Philly ignored the Marquis entirely and muttered to herself as she looked at Mr. Oliver.

“Guaaah!”

Mr. Oliver let out a voice full of anguish.

A thick golden mana, dense enough to be visible even without my supernatural ability, overflowed from his body.

Then, the tormented Mr. Oliver suddenly quieted and stood up.

“Mr. Oliver…?”

“Hahaha! Oliver, kill this woman!”

The Marquis ordered the standing Mr. Oliver.

“Destroy the guild.”

Mr. Oliver muttered that word and walked toward the wall of the room.

“Hey, Oliver! What are you doing? Kill this woman quickly!”

Ignoring the Marquis’s shouts, Mr. Oliver reached the wall, took a sword that had been leaning against it, and sliced through it.

A hole large enough not to be made by just a sword swing appeared, and Mr. Oliver walked outside through it.

“I see. So that’s how it is. Well then, let’s do this.”

Philly muttered something.

I was still confused, unable to fully grasp the situation.

Then,

“Luna! Strengthen your defenses at once!”

A girl’s voice echoed in my mind.

“—!”

I quickly formed a magic barrier around myself, and immediately after, Ms. Philly tapped the floor with her staff.

An extraordinary gust of wind erupted around her, and the mansion couldn’t withstand it and was blown away.

When the wind died down, leaving the demolished site where the building once stood, only Philly, the Marquis, Ms. Aneli, Mr. Derrick, and I remained.

“What… what just happened!?”

The Marquis shouted, panicked by the sudden turn of events, which is understandable.

“…Not only did you respond to my attack, but you also protected everyone. Well done, Luna.”

“Is that a Sylph? Thank you for protecting us all.”

I had only cast the magic barrier around myself.

Normally, the Marquis, who has no means to fight, as well as Ms. Aneli and Mr. Derrick, who were just standing there, would all have been blown away.

But they remained here.

I guessed that a Sylph, the wind fairy, generated another gust around them, canceling out Philly’s attack.

“Humans can go to hell, but the Queen told me to protect them.”

“Titania...? Why would she—”

“Don’t zone out!”

“—!?”

While talking with the Sylph, another voice echoed in my mind.

At that moment, countless magic circles appeared, enveloping me.

“…This is truly troublesome. My supernatural ability doesn’t work well with yours; you’ll die here, Luna.”

Before I could grasp that all of them were super explosion (explode) spells, countless explosions engulfed me.

“Cough, cough.”

“Are you alive? Ruu-ko.”

Inhaling the smoke caused by the explosions, I coughed, and a mature woman’s voice echoed in my mind.

“Yes, thanks to you. Thank you for saving me, Titania.”

“You’re quite the handful.”

Fairies are supernatural beings invisible to humans.

Though I cannot see their form, I can sense their presence and even communicate with them.

My supernatural ability is Spirit Domination.

It allows me to place spirits under my control and manipulate them freely.

It’s essentially similar to Mr. Orun and the others’ mana convergence.
