The skies were shrouded in layers of clouds, while the mountains stretched for tens of thousands of kilometers, undulating across the land. Rivers, each spanning several dozen kilometers, crisscrossed between the mountains and plains.
By the edges of these rivers, massive groups of exotic beasts could be seen running, emitting loud, resonant roars that filled the air with a wild and desolate atmosphere.
At the foot of a ten-thousand-meter peak, towering trees hundreds of meters high stood tall, their bark rugged and tough like steel, with lush branches intertwining to obscure the sky.
Among the trees, ape-like creatures that stood over ten meters tall, with horns on their heads, made their home. When they played, a single leap could cover dozens to hundreds of meters, and they would emit ferocious howls.
On these trees, fruits the size of a meter hung in abundance, serving as the primary food source for the black-scaled horned apes.
However, while these black-scaled horned apes were frolicking, a gigantic python over fifty meters long, covered in grayish-black scales, silently approached from the dark shadows of the forest.
Just as this imposing python drew near, a vigilant old ape in the distance suddenly beat its chest and let out a piercing howl.
Roar! Roar! Roar!!
In an instant, the entire forest trembled as the black-scaled horned apes swiftly leaped to the treetops, looking towards the distant python coiling around the tree and letting out furious roars.
Dozens of adult black-scaled horned apes grabbed the gray fruits, their claws swirling with black energy, and in the blink of an eye, these fruits turned black, resembling steel.
Boom! Boom! Boom!!
Under the rage of these robust horned apes, dozens of one-meter-sized steel projectiles blasted through the air, raining down upon the python.
Hiss!!
The python's body swirled with gray energy, and in an instant, it appeared to shift shapes, darting like a gray bolt of lightning along the trunk of a tree.
Suddenly, all the towering trees were violently shaken by the impact of the black iron fruit projectiles, their bark exploding with a shocking force.
Oww!
From a tree several hundred meters away came a heart-wrenching scream as one black-scaled horned ape had its upper body crushed by the python, blood spattering everywhere, before being dragged into the darkness among the branches.
Roar! Roar! Roar!!
With their eyes reddened, the black-scaled horned apes, filled with fear and rage, frantically hurled countless black iron fruits toward that area.
The sounds of the battle echoed far into the distance, causing some large exotic beasts resting outside the forest to grow restless.
On the vast plain outside the fruit forest, ordinary weeds stood over ten meters tall, their broad and thick leaves swaying in the wind, vibrant with greenery.
At the edge of the plain, dozens of exotic beasts, each over twenty meters long and more than ten meters tall, resembling cows but covered in heavy scales, lowered their heads to graze.
Under the nourishing energy of heaven and earth, these ordinary weeds contained rich nutrients, sufficient to sustain the daily needs of these large beasts.
Amidst the lush weeds that resembled a forest, ordinary serpent-like creatures over ten to twenty meters long occasionally passed through, making a rustling sound.
Suddenly, the weeds in the distance began to shake violently, followed by a series of shrill screams, which quickly ceased, leaving only a faint smell of blood.
Whoosh!
A fierce wind howled from above, and a massive shadow descended from the sky, causing the peaceful grazing armored beasts below to roar and retract their enormous bodies.
A heavy force field erupted from the bodies of these exotic beasts, amplifying one another, and in an instant, the ground within a radius of several hundred meters sank, the air turning thick and heavy, forming a gravity zone.
However, these beasts moved too slowly. A creature over eighty meters wide swooped down from the sky at several times the speed of sound and instantly seized one of the outer armored beasts over ten meters long, launching itself into the air.
