CHAPTER 52: Azure Spirit Pill
About a quarter of an hour later, Chai Wenzheng brought Liu Yu to a rather grand mansion.
This mansion covered more than ten acres, surrounded by a high wall that stood over a丈 tall, making it difficult for ordinary mortals to climb over. The wall had a slight yellow tint, covered in the marks of time.
In front of the mansion's main gate stood two stone lions, their majestic presence exuding authority and grace, making it clear to onlookers that its owner was either wealthy or noble.
Chai Wenzheng courteously pushed open the gate, and Liu Yu stepped inside. As he looked around, he saw a pebble-paved path running through a lush green lawn, leading directly to the upper levels of the house. Tall trees lined both sides of the path, planted in an orderly fashion that was pleasing to the eye.
To the left of the house was a half-acre pond, with a small, quaint pavilion in the center for shade. A vintage red wooden bridge connected the path to the pavilion, adding a unique charm to the place.
On the surface, this mansion appeared solemn and imposing, yet its interior was close to nature with exquisite craftsmanship, which greatly suited Liu Yu's taste.
"Not bad, not bad."
Liu Yu glanced around, feeling quite satisfied. Since it caught his eye, he was too lazy to be picky about different options; after all, it was just a temporary stopover, and the spiritual energy was all quite similar.
He slightly turned to Chai Wenzheng and said, "City Lord Chai is quite considerate; I’ll take this mansion."
Noticing Liu Yu's satisfied expression, Chai Wenzheng felt a surge of joy. At least the first matter he handled did not disappoint the immortal master.
Chai Wenzheng tentatively asked again, and after seeing Liu Yu nod slightly, he felt relieved and exhaled.
"Please arrange for some personnel nearby to keep out any unnecessary visitors. When I’m cultivating, I do not wish to be disturbed, do you understand?"

With his hands behind his back, Liu Yu maintained a neutral expression, his voice calm yet carrying an inexplicable pressure.
Sweat edged on Chai Wenzheng’s forehead. Although this immortal master appeared to be around twenty years old, the pressure he felt was heavier than from Su Ding. Hearing this, he hurriedly replied, "Yes, yes, yes! I will arrange personnel immediately to prevent unauthorized individuals from approaching this mansion."

Chai Wenzheng bowed and assured him fervently.
"Mm, I hope you can follow through. Alright, you may go now."
Liu Yu nodded lightly. He was somewhat satisfied with Chai Wenzheng's attitude and waved his hand to let him leave.
"I take my leave, and if the immortal master has any orders, please notify me. I will handle all matters for the immortal master without reservation!"
Chai Wenzheng once again bowed and left, displaying his loyalty before slowly retreating out of the mansion's door and closing it behind him.
After leaving the gate, he regained his demeanor as city lord, promptly dispatching a team of men to patrol around the mansion to prevent anyone from disturbing the immortal master’s cultivation inside.
Once Chai Wenzheng departed, Liu Yu familiarized himself with the new environment by taking a tour inside the mansion. He eventually arrived at the Pavilion in the Heart of the Lake to enjoy the beautiful scenery.
He would likely spend the next five years here. As Liu Yu gazed at the fish swimming in the lake, his eyes gradually unfocused.
A series of arrangements and plans indeed made him feel a bit weary, but in life, some things are unavoidable and must be contended with. If one does not plan for the future, they will surely face immediate worries.
