ăFiesta Kingdomă
Inside a dimly lit room. The white stone walls clearly revealed that the building was made of stone, and flickering shadows danced under the firelight serving as illumination.
The room was spacious, yet even with the countless lights, the entire space wasnât fully lit. Within this room stood a long table carved from heavy stone, around which twelve men and women gathered. Except for one person, everyone stood, looking down at the items placed on the table. The sole person sitting was positioned so that they had a clear view of the tableâs center.
One of the twelve, Tran, picked up one of the objects on the table and began to speak.
âPlease look at this. Itâs a piece of blue glasswork. There were many other crafts that canât be produced in this island nation. Of course, there were also weapons and armaments that pose a threat to us. Currently, the Kingdom of Scuderia, the largest country on the Western Continent, is powerful. Even if two nations of equal or similar strength teamed up against it, they could not win. This is a map of the Western Continent. Itâs believed without a doubt that the Kingdom of Scuderia is the dominant power there.â
Tran briefly disclosed the information gathered during this voyage. Everyone nodded thoughtfully. In the middle of the table lay a large map, showing three continents. A bald man with a white beard nodded in agreement with Tranâs report, then pressed the tip of a black, branch-like stick against a point on the map located at sea, drawing a line extending to the left side of the map.
Tran pointed to the end of that line and spoke.
âThis is the Marquisate of Rosso in the Kingdom of Scuderia. Heading south from here lies the capital city.â
â...The town is called Tribute, is that right?â
âYes. Itâs a peaceful port town, but no large ships were seen. From what we heard, the Kingdom of Scuderia hasnât advanced much in ship research to the point of ocean navigation yet.â
Tran answered, and the man wrote some of this information onto the map while nodding. Then, a woman standing opposite the table lifted her head. She was in her forties with purple hair. Her broad shoulders and muscular build were evident even under somewhat loose clothing.
The purple-haired woman furrowed her brows and pointed sequentially at the Kingdom of Scuderia, the Yelinetta Kingdom, and the Shelvia Confederation on the map.
â...So essentially, these three countries are the rulers in this region. Isnât contact with the Kingdom of Scuderia dangerous?â
Speaking in a low voice, she asked. Tran nodded seriously.
âIt is dangerous. However, after meeting and talking with the powerful figures like the marquises and counts of the Kingdom of Scuderia, I felt they are trustworthy. Moreover, they have much to offer us. Particularly in craftsmanship, they are far more advanced than we imagined. If we can cooperate, our Fiesta Kingdomâs fleet could be significantly strengthened.â
âSo, youâre suggesting we should build friendly relations?â
âExactly. I believe they would become a reliable ally.â
After sharing his thoughts, Tran awaited everyoneâs reactions. Those around the table carefully considered the information and shared their impressions.
âI see. Interesting.â
âIâm curious about this excellence in craftsmanship.â
âNo, I want to hear about the other countries first. Next is the Fourth Fleet. Mondeo Orcus. What information was gathered?â
As voices rose, a muscular one-eyed man exposed his strong arm and spoke. Responding to him, the smallest man among the twelve, with brown hair, answered.
âYes, understood. I voyaged eastward. The landing point was here, the center of the Solstice Empire. It seems the Fifth Fleetâs Rear Guard Spect also reached the southern part of the Solstice Empire. Itâs truly a massive nation. This map was obtained from the Commerce Guild, a large organization within the Solstice Empire. As you can see, the Solstice Empire controls over seventy percent of the continent known as the Central Continent. What stands out most is their overwhelming national strength and their latest weapons.â
