“It’s out…! That’s the infamous Immortal Knight! Two knights have appeared!”
“They’re too fast! Even the artillery can’t stop them!?”
Ever since the silver-clad knight appeared, panic spread rapidly along the castle walls. But upon taking a closer look, no one could deny the truth. A towering giant of a man, clad in full silver armor, moved across the battlefield with the speed of the wind. Moreover, wielding a greatsword nearly as tall as himself, he blew away two or three men at once with inhuman strength. Once he appeared on the field, even the battle-hardened knight order would be crushed head-on.
If he were an ally, it would be like something out of a myth; from the enemy’s perspective, it was as if a demon had been summoned.
Of course, the artillery operators immediately tried to focus their aim on these abnormal knights. However, that was playing right into the enemy’s hands.

One of the knights reported anxiously. Naturally, Cosworth understood without needing to be told — that’s why he had prepared for this.

Upon issuing the command, the infantry who had been lined up behind the walls swiftly swapped places with the frontline archers.

“Now is the time to strike back! Throw the Black Orbs and oil jars!”

Over two hundred infantrymen simultaneously hurled Black Orbs and pots filled with oil toward the base of the walls.
Seconds later, the Black Orbs exploded violently, shaking the walls with the blast. The oil caught fire, sending multiple pillars of flame soaring high enough to reach the top of the walls—like a roaring wall of fire. Such range and power would be impossible even with ten fire magicians combined.
The explosions and flames were so intense that even some of the heavy infantry who threw the Black Orbs stumbled backward.
“Artillery and archery units! Ready your attacks without hesitation! If you judge the enemy can’t approach, revert to long-range attacks! Prioritize targeting stationary mobile crossbows and cavalry!”
Cosworth quickly issued the urgent orders to his troops distracted by the explosions. His words brought them back to their senses, and the attack resumed in unison.
It was probably unexpected for the enemy as well. Many among their ranks clearly slowed down.
This was the perfect opportunity.
This time, they would make the Kingdom of Scuderia realize the terror of the Yelinetta Kingdom.
