Deep in the ocean.
The waters surged, and giant beasts roared. Even the oceanic tribe understood the primary task at hand — to eliminate all traces of the demonic clan on Earth and restore clarity to their home planet.
What lay before them was a scene of slaughter, roars, the cheers of sea beasts, and the wails of the demonic clan. This was a turning point — perhaps it could not be described as taking the initiative, but at least many constraints had been lifted.
Wen Yu faced this boiling chaos head-on, diving straight into the depths of the sea, arriving at the headquarters of the sea king clan — Deep Blue City.
Having never been to Deep Blue before, Wen Yu naturally had no idea what it looked like. Now, however, it seemed that the sea king clan had arranged things quite nicely here — pearls and gemstones were everywhere, and although the architectural style leaned toward the rugged, it still possessed a certain exotic beauty. The city was vast, and besides the sea king clan, various divine beast species thrived here.
Overall, their strength was considerable.
Just above Deep Blue City, Wen Yu awaited the arrival of the person he had been expecting — a small group led by Tang Haofei representing the earth's will.
Tang Haofei, the celestial god, the Sea King, and Bai...
"Welcome to Deep Blue, my brother!"
When Tang Haofei saw Wen Yu, he immediately spread his arms and gave Wen Yu a warm embrace, a scene that made the Sea King feel somewhat uncomfortable.
Wasn't it agreed that Tang Haofei would come out to face Wen Yu? Why did it look so harmonious now...
Wen Yu also noticed the Sea King's dissatisfaction with him. He merely crossed his arms and stared at the Sea King until the Sea King took a deep breath, stepped forward, and bowed respectfully, saying, "Greetings... Lord of Sequence One."
Wen Yu nodded, releasing a strange sense of aggravation, and then turned to discuss the business at hand.
"The portal on land has been set up, and now we just need to handle the ocean. I will establish three large portals and thirty small ones here. Is the quantity acceptable?"
"Absolutely no problem."
Discussing this matter lifted the earlier gloom from the Sea King, who smiled widely and appeared excited — these mutated beasts were indeed easier to manage than humans.
Once Wen Yu finished speaking, he immediately began his work. As the portals were gradually laid out, Wen Yu turned to Tang Haofei.
"I want to meet the earth's will, is that alright?"
Hearing Wen Yu's inquiry, Tang Haofei merely shook his head, and Wen Yu did not linger on the matter, simply nodding in understanding. Out of the corner of his eye, he caught Bai looking at him with an enigmatic smile.
This relieved Wen Yu.
With a smile on his lips, it proved that the plan was progressing smoothly, allowing him ample time — that was enough.
Once the portals were established, they did not discuss any other topics. Wen Yu was the first to step into the portal and entered the Layered Battlefield, while after a moment's contemplation, Tang Haofei followed closely behind.
No one paid attention to the two departing one after the other.
Bai and the celestial god turned and walked deeper into the sea, perhaps intending to discuss some private matters with the earth's will, while the Sea King, unable to contain his joy, pulled out a massive conch from his waist and blew into it vigorously.
Accompanied by the resonating sound, one by one, sea king clan members in Deep Blue City shouldered their belongings, dragging their families through the portal — abandoning the past and stepping into the future.
The Layered Battlefield signified the curtain fall of one era and the beginning of another.
...
In Zone Six, Continent 1635.
The sparse trees rustled under the gentle breeze, and dappled sunlight poured down, making the scenery here clean and enchanting.
"How is it? This is the secluded spot I arranged for you, the scenery isn't bad, right?"
Wen Yu and Tang Haofei stood side by side by a small lake, casually sitting on the rocks by the water, enjoying this rare moment of tranquility, which was reminiscent of poetry.
