Doomsday Summoning Frenzy

Chapter 890: Change (Part Two) 🌌

Published: March 2, 2025

After a quick look at the changes in Faceless and Star, Wen Yu shifted his gaze to the remaining three spirit pets.

A faint smile slowly appeared on his lips. Compared to Faceless and Star, the changes in the other three spirit pets were significantly greater!

The fourth soul—Faceless.

The human-made skill (or rather, debuff) had been washed away when Faceless acquired its soul. Wen Yu also efficiently cleaned up Faceless's second skill, Control (A-level, active ability). Faceless was quite special; it only needed a Perfect Copy (race foundation level, active ability) to unleash extraordinary combat capabilities!

However, the remaining five abilities of Faceless were even more interesting.

Divinization (SSS-level, passive ability): Increases the host's physical attributes by two hundred percent!

Ă—5...

That's right, it's Ă—5...

Aside from Perfect Copy, all the remaining skills on Faceless were Divinization (SSS-level, passive ability)!

This was a power that Wen Yu had created and named himself. Its purpose needed no explanation; it was to enhance Wen Yu’s own state! In a soul state, stacking the five Divinization abilities would grant Wen Yu a tenfold increase!

This was Wen Yu's plan for Faceless's future role—after using Perfect Copy, Faceless's own skills would be completely replaced. Normally, aside from Perfect Copy, the remaining skills would be utterly useless for Faceless. Rather than leaving skill slots empty, it was better to have Faceless become his amplifier, and with a tenth-level Faceless, it could provide Wen Yu with nine layers of Divinization, resulting in an eighteen-fold increase, which was quite impressive.

As for the fifth soul—Victor, the changes were even greater.

Victor had never possessed a limit-breaking ability. Three years ago, the military provided a very suitable limit-breaking ability for Victor, and two years ago, they brought a foundation level ability, both of which were assigned to Victor by Wen Yu.

Consequently, Wen Yu washed away two of Victor's useless skills, which were Dual Body (SS-level, active ability) and Misty Trail (S-level, active ability).

There was nothing much to say about Dual Body (SS-level, active ability). Perhaps for the Lone Walker, a clone would be quite beneficial. Based on Wen Yu’s estimation, if Dual Body (SS-level, active ability) could be upgraded to a foundation level ability, it might create a clone with identical strength to the main body. However, since Victor was Wen Yu’s spirit pet, this ability seemed unnecessary—after all, a clone with 100 points of physical attributes that couldn't use foundation level skills didn’t have much utility. Moreover, since Wen Yu had given Victor a limit-breaking ability, comparing all skills, it was only natural to discard Dual Body (SS-level, active ability)...

As for Misty Trail (S-level, active ability), it was rather unfortunate. Victor's combat style leaned towards the mysterious, with the main skills being Netherworld and Dream Sculpting, both possessing unpredictable capabilities. The reason for discarding this ability was that Wen Yu obtained a better replacement.

Void Walking (race foundation level, active ability): Upon activation, the host gains the power of void movement, allowing free action within the invisible and undetectable void.

Note: The void is derived from the main world and is known as the Mirror World, where the time flow is the same in both worlds. Entering the void is equivalent to completely disappearing from the main world, but the two worlds cannot interfere with each other.

Note: Void Walking has no cooldown time, no restrictions, and no costs. Activation and deactivation rely solely on the host's will.

Note: When exiting the state of Void Walking, the host will appear in the same position as in the void.

This is a super strong stealth, assassination, and even defensive skill. Wen Yu had briefly tested the power of this skill; when Victor used Void Walking, even Wen Yu himself couldn't detect Victor's location. Moreover, the Mirror World known as the void was somewhat special—despite having the power to break space, Wen Yu couldn’t harm Victor in the void at all.
