After settling his subordinates, Little White followed the ancient demon outside.
This location was a reverse teleportation assembly point pre-set by Regas, not only the Thirty-Second Demon Realm Gate, but after crossing over, other Demon Realm Gates would also appear here.
The place was crowded and chaotic, even the roads were blocked. Fortunately, the ancient demon who came to welcome everyone had a respectable identity and quickly instructed his people to clear a path leading to the outside. Along the way, he picked up several high-ranking officials from the former African war zone and brought them to the temporary camp set up next to the assembly point.
“Please wait a moment.”
Leading Little White and the others to a room, the ancient demon spoke, then arranged for a few people to wait at the door while he turned again, possibly to pick up someone else.
Once the ancient demon left, the group immediately began chattering among themselves—merely exchanging information, discussing Regas' current thoughts and feelings, and even speculating on the future direction of the African war zone. In short, many of these people were temporarily promoted after the collapse of the battle situation, lacking strong connections and knowledge.
However, it was evident that moving forward, if the African war zone still existed, these people could very well become the upper echelons of the future African war zone—similar to elite social gatherings before the apocalypse, this was a decent platform for communication.
Little White naturally understood these dynamics and quickly struck up a lively conversation with the surrounding division commanders.
During this time, the guiding ancient demon brought in several groups of demonic creatures, among them Little White spotted the figure of Zero in a black robe.
Knowing that this was the undercover agent left by his master, Little White maintained an outward appearance of respect, approaching Zero along with the other demonic creatures to pay his respects—Zero's status was not something that Little White and the others could compare to…
……
After waiting for nearly an hour, when the ancient demon brought in four more demonic creatures, this time he did not leave again. Instead, he parted the crowd and stood at the door, respectfully knocking.
“Knock, knock, knock…”
The knocking echoed continuously, and seeing this scene, the surrounding demonic creatures immediately fell silent, as if they understood something. After a while, a clear voice came from inside the room.
“Enter.”
Only then did the ancient demon push open the door, smiling as he gestured for the demonic creatures behind him to enter.
“Please, Regas has been waiting for you inside.”
Just outside the door, Little White and the others hadn’t sensed any life force, yet with the ability of an eleventh level strongman, blocking such perceptions shouldn’t be too difficult.
Imagining if there was any oversight in the previous conversation, Little White steadied his nerves and entered the room without any flaws.
What greeted his eyes was the imposing figure of the ancient demon seated at the head of the table.
……
“Make yourselves comfortable.”
Regas was sitting in the main seat of the conference room, flipping through the latest intelligence reports page by page, showing no visible emotion on his face.
The demonic clan that entered the room stood still for a moment…
Regas raised his head and looked at the cluster of trembling demonic clan at the door, furrowing his brows, he repeated,
“Sit down when I tell you to!”
The commanding tone proved to be much more effective than before. Accompanied by the clatter of furniture, the seats in the conference room quickly filled up.
Seeing this, Regas put down the documents in his hand and spoke slowly.
“As you can see, the African war zone has lost tens of millions of troops in an instant. In other words, the African war zone is gone…”
His calm tone conveyed the failure of the African war zone—for someone of Regas' standing, this calmness meant far more complex issues.
