After dividing the four spirit pets into two teams, Wen Yu no longer paid attention to their movements—after all, there shouldn’t be any deviations.
Even though the level restraint at level six had been lifted, the combat ability of the four spirit pets still belonged to the top echelon in this world. If they encountered danger, Wen Yu could use the power of the soul realm space to pull them back. However, more impurities merely dissipated into the air and would vanish completely after a while.
In other words, every soul light spot appearing in the air had once been part of a living being just days ago. The greater the number of deaths, the more of this energy there was, and correspondingly, the more benefits Wen Yu would gain!
With his right hand open, a large amount of soul energy gathered in the palm of Wen Yu’s hand, gradually transforming into the exclusive energy for the soul creation technique. Once all the light spots around had been collected, Wen Yu turned and walked to the next location.

Along the way, he encountered quite a few demonic clan troops; however, under the concealment effect of the Heaven-Covering Robe, these demons were like blind men, unable to detect Wen Yu’s presence at all.
As he got closer to the New Hope Gathering Place, the surrounding gray soul energy increased. With the soul creation technique operating at full strength, Wen Yu absorbed all this energy until he had collected all the soul energy within the New Hope Gathering Place. He looked greedily at the corpses of the demonic creatures strewn across the ground, but after a moment, he shook his head and turned to walk in another direction.
First, he needed to understand the soul creation technique; then, he could properly play with the demonic creatures stationed on the African continent. That was Wen Yu’s established strategy.
There was no need to expose his location for some demonic creature corpses—or rather, a bit of physical quality.
Thus, after about a day, Wen Yu stopped in front of a small hill.
