The Blue Monk is the codename given by the military for the Laughing Monk.
With a bald head clad in a blue monk's robe, who else could be called the Blue Monk?
The communicator transmitted the next command. “Target confirmed dead, code number 3360, please proceed to the next target location and observe the movements of the little Taoist.”
“3360 received.”
The soldier received the instruction, quickly surveying the battlefield around him, then continued moving rapidly northeast.
The Blue Monk, the little Taoist...
From the codenames given by the military, it was clear that the military had long been eyeing these limit breakers on the Fourth Layer of the Heavenly Palace.
The power of large organizations, their intelligence networks, once fully activated, could indeed produce effects beyond anyone's expectations!
...
On the Second Layer of the Heavenly Palace, within the military's operational command center.
Hearing the report from his subordinate, Fran looked expressionlessly towards a nearby spot.
There, Tang Haofei was leisurely sitting on a sofa, holding a glass of red wine, gazing at the busy soldiers and equipment outside.
“Wen Yu killed the Blue Monk.”
“Oh, what happened?”
Fran thought for a moment before a smile appeared on his face. “It's really nothing, just that two foundation level skills are missing.”
Upon hearing Fran's words, Tang Haofei waved his hand dismissively.
“You're thinking too much. Foundation level skills? Nonsense! If they were that easy to obtain, there wouldn't only be two limit breakers of the human race in this world, me and Wen Yu!”
Tang Haofei’s meaning was clear to Fran—the military had the ability to extract skills from corpses, but only a few informed individuals understood that this ability was not flawless. At the very least, it could not extract skills from the bodies of mutated beasts and demonic clan members.
However, even so, the value of this ability was already quite high—once all the strong members of the military entered a virtuous cycle, as long as the skills did not disappear, the military could create another identical powerhouse at any time!
During this entry into the Heavenly Palace Treasure Land, after a simple understanding of the overall strength of the Immortal Heroic World, the military immediately laid out another action plan—scouring the Heavenly Palace for limit breakers and extracting their skills!
Limit breakers acquired—Tang Haofei had just captured a limit breaker soul on the Third Layer of the Heavenly Palace—the only one in the Third Layer!
The rest depended on the reports from Beijing.
...
Perhaps Fran still clung to a glimmer of hope and couldn’t help but argue back.
“How do you know the plan can’t succeed? Once this plan succeeds, the overall strength of the human race will absolutely present explosive growth! It's not like I'm criticizing you; can't you say something nice?”
Fran was older and had lived long enough to see many things clearly, especially regarding Tang Haofei.
Tang Haofei was a good person. Even though he had killed quite a few people, he remained a good person who truly did not care about hierarchy. Others treated him with utmost respect due to his strength, but perhaps Tang Haofei felt that this attitude was not what he wanted.
In other words, Tang Haofei's nature resembled that of ancient mountain bandits; he preferred to drink and feast with friends, chatting and joking around.
In the entire military system, aside from former members of the ultimate combat team, probably only Fran and Lin Haifeng dared to confront Tang Haofei directly!
Sure enough, Fran’s words did not upset Tang Haofei at all.
Old Tang just smiled and shook his head, lightly pointing to his head.
“You all believe too much in your skills and so-called deductions but overlook another point—intuition.”
“My intuition has always been very accurate. Intuition tells me that the sovereign cannot allow the Heavenly Palace to become a slaughterhouse for the military to harvest foundation level skills, and even the mutated beasts, which are also Earth creatures, we can’t extract skills from them—how can we extract skills from the natives of the Immortal Heroic World?”
