There was a squad of identical, expressionless adult males, each nearly two meters tall.
Their numbers were not many, only around a hundred.
Each of them wore an entire set of sci-fi styled exoskeleton armor, and with their massive firearms, they looked quite imposing!
Of course, Fang Wenhai knew what these guys were; no matter how intimidating their appearance was, they could not possibly rival professional fighters.
These were the military's Clone Armor Legion.
Clones, being man-made entities, must possess a specific skill!
Human Creation (F-grade, passive skill): This type of creature is artificially produced; although it shows signs of life, it lacks a soul and possesses only minimal instincts! This life form can evolve by consuming the corpses of mutated creatures, but after evolving, it cannot acquire skills! Skills can only be obtained through special channels!
This ability is a restriction imposed by the sovereign on these artificial life forms. According to military research, the ability of Human Creation cannot be modified or forgotten by any means.
Moreover, these “humans” without souls cannot even enter treasure land. The fact that the Clone Armor Legion can enter the treasure land must mean that the Academy of Sciences has developed some new black technology!
Seeing the reinforcements arrive, Fang Wenhai nodded at the leader, Wei Tian.
Wei Tian smiled slightly and took out a controller, gesturing with it for nearly ten seconds, after which the entire Clone Armor Legion quickly sprang into action.
These clone warriors marched forward with mechanical steps, directly exiting the outpost and slowly moving towards the direction of the bipedal lizards.
Watching the clone mechanical army below, Fang Wenhai furrowed his brows slightly, then spoke.
"From my observation, these clones should not have undergone any enhancement upgrades."
Wei Tian, who had already stood beside Fang Wenhai, shrugged lightly.
"Magic crystals are not something they can use. Besides, the tactics employed by this army are never real-life combat..."
Fang Wenhai knew of this army but had never seen the combat style of the Clone Armor Legion.
Seeing the puzzled look on Fang Wenhai's face, Wei Tian chuckled softly.
"Do you see those firearms?"
Fang Wenhai could of course see the imposing weapons in the hands of the Clone Armor Legion. Based on Fang Wenhai's estimation, these should be newly developed weapons by the Academy of Sciences, and their deployment now was likely to test their effectiveness on the battlefield.
However, Wei Tian's explanation was quite different from Fang Wenhai's imagination...
"Cool, right? I think it looks cool, so I had them installed, but in truth, it’s just a model, a kind of toy."
"You have to understand the nature of clones. If we don’t implant memories in them, they know nothing and have no thoughts or emotions. This type of life form is most suitable to be used as human bombs..."
Upon hearing Wei Tian's words, Fang Wenhai fell silent for a moment but still nodded.

Then, an army of a thousand quickly rushed out from the treasure land entrance, heading straight for the city wall.
These soldiers wore dark green military uniforms with a red flame pattern on the back.
The leader appeared to be in his thirties, commanding the troops behind him to run toward the city wall while simultaneously pulling out a walkie-talkie and shouting loudly.
"Hey, hey, hey, Ah Hai, our magic energy mage special operations team is reporting in. I hope you haven't been taken out by those demonic spawns yet..."
"And, the other two special profession teams are almost there too..."
After a brief silence on the other end of the communicator, Fang Wenhai's voice came through.
