The increase in clone bodies is a fact. By now, the military command center has confirmed that the demonic clan possesses the means to mass-produce clones.
From the original few to now being everywhere, if this isn't discovered, then something must be wrong... But still, as always, there is no countermeasure.
Returning our attention to Victor, over the years, as the number of clone bodies has grown, the frequency with which Victor encounters them has also increased. When the rare becomes commonplace, Victor no longer feels much surprise or tension even when he sees a clone body.
Because they indeed have no means to counter the clone bodies.
If they want to capture Victor, they need to solve two problems.
The first is void walking.
Tang Haofei's clones inherit his skills; however, Tang Haofei's skill system is entirely built around the life and death battle resolution, making them pure warriors with only pure strength.
Neither Tang Haofei nor the clone bodies have the means to perceive spatial abilities, and for someone like Victor, who is not in the same space, capturing him becomes a fantasy.
The second is the Netherworld.
Victor believed that the demonic clan had methods to counter the Netherworld—specifically, the big clubs used by the five clone bodies in the main battle zone. But now that he thinks about it, one cannot rule out the possibility that the demonic clan was trying to scare Victor.
If these two points are not broken, then capturing Victor is undoubtedly just an idea that can never become reality.
Based on past experiences, clone bodies, after a brief flyby, would not pose any trouble—like two pedestrians passing each other on the road.
However, what Victor did not see was that this clone body was wearing a silver-white ring.
As the clone body approached within a kilometer of Victor, the silver ring began to shine.
The light was faint but enough to attract the attention of the clone body—and also Victor's.
Although Victor seemed to be dozing, the imminent danger was enough to keep him alert.
At first, Victor was unclear about the situation, but when he saw the clone body fix its gaze on him and speed towards him, Victor felt a sense of dread.
The situation was clear—while the clone bodies did not possess spatial abilities, they could certainly equip spatial items...
When they encountered a location with spatial fluctuations, the ring would react automatically—this little gadget really wasn’t that sophisticated.
The clone body arrived in an instant, standing in the sky and looking down at the ground below that had triggered the ring, then it stretched out its hands and clenched its fists tightly.
Drawing a bow...
Nocking an arrow...
Its upper body suddenly resembled a large bow, and then with a powerful punch, a transparent fist mark shot forward, shattering space and directly crashing into the ground.
Although the clone body did not have the means to perceive space, with their strength, they could indeed disrupt space, thus forcing Victor, who was in a void walking state, out of it!
However, this strike did not achieve the desired effect.
When the dust settled on the ground, only a cracked earth remained before the clone body.
Victor had already fled at the first sign of something going wrong...
In a void walking state, Victor’s speed was comparable to his normal state, which meant that his speed was actually much weaker than that of the clone body.
However, with six directions available for Victor to escape, even with the ring making it easier for the clone body to search, non-fixed sensing was indeed not as efficient as direct targeting.
Having escaped, Victor quickly turned back and saw the clone body chasing in the opposite direction of his escape. Seeing this, Victor immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
The distance between them grew, and when the clone body disappeared from Victor's line of sight, he then changed direction and rapidly fled from this realm.
A voice echoed from the Netherworld.
“It seems we’re in trouble…”
