In the Layered Battlefield, the land plates were not far apart, and in the void, aside from the air defense torpedoes deployed in advance by Beijing, the trigger warning devices, the massive Void Fleet, and the Tianyanzi system, there were no visible or tangible risks.
Five thousand demonic creatures moved majestically, like schools of fish in the ocean, swimming freely in the void, darting along the route map provided by the radar. It looked impressive, but those who understood the situation knew just how vulnerable these five thousand demonic creatures were.
At this moment, Wen Yu stayed beside Gul, the two of them chatting intermittently about future development plans. It was mostly Wen Yu talking while Gul nodded in agreement—given Wen Yu’s knowledge and experience, offering some sound advice to this little rascal Gul was quite effortless.
It was somewhat akin to playing the role of a think tank.
However, merely being a think tank was not enough. While it was simple and easy to engage in conversation with Gul, truly obtaining insider information and gaining Gul’s wholehearted trust while taking on a high position within the resistance army was absolutely indispensable.
Wen Yu’s “strength” was insufficient, his identity was inadequate, and his intellect was slightly lacking compared to a real think tank.
Nonetheless, Wen Yu had his own methods of handling this.
At one moment, Gul suddenly fell into a daze, and then his expression changed dramatically. Only then did Wen Yu smile slightly and look towards Gul’s abdomen.
There, the seed of the baru demon beast maternal body was pulsating, seemingly encountering an unprecedented crisis!
...
In the flagship of the Zone Three Void Fleet.
Lei stood side by side with the Zone Three fleet admiral, both looking at the electronic screen in front of them, which clearly displayed the action routes of the five thousand ancient demons.
“Deploy a few Type V battleships to attack this team of demonic creatures. Clear them out completely—leave none behind!”
Lei said this while gently turning his identity token in his hand.
The Zone Three fleet admiral glanced at the token out of the corner of his eye, and the two golden characters “Wen Yu” on the token gleamed under the light, causing him to smile and shrug.
“Yes, my lord…”
Although Lei seemed to be leveraging Wen Yu’s authority somewhat, considering Wen Yu’s identity token, the matter was naturally dismissed by the Zone Three fleet admiral.
Lei smiled slightly at the Zone Three fleet admiral.
“Thank you for your trouble. This incident is a top-secret mission, and I hope you can keep it under wraps for me.”
The Zone Three fleet admiral nodded lightly and then issued commands through the ship's communication system.
...
The attack occurred swiftly.
When the baru demon beast maternal body issued a warning, and Gul’s expression changed dramatically, Little Gul didn't even have time to say anything before a blue light shot forth from a distance.
The roaring energy wave hit the middle of the team in an instant, the high temperature mixed with explosions extinguishing the life forces of over a hundred ancient demons. Gul turned his head to look in the direction of the incoming attack; however, what greeted him were three consecutive beams of blue light identical to the first.
At that moment, the danger warning from the baru demon beast seed was unprecedentedly intense. Gul could only watch helplessly as the unknown entity in the distance launched a long-range attack on his group, unable to take any effective countermeasures.
Within three seconds, half of the five thousand demonic creatures were wiped out. Just as another blue light shot forth, heading straight for Gul, he widened his eyes, seemingly stunned by this sudden threat of death, and in the next second, he felt a large hand grasp his collar fiercely, pulling Gul’s body away in an instant.
The last image in his sight was of “Uncle Number Three” enveloped in blue light.
