The Black-Robed Man saw that the military trio had stopped moving and slightly nodded his head before directly pursuing them into the woods.
When the others witnessed the Black-Robed Man going for the kill, they had already fled.
"Are you guys just going to ignore this?"
Sequence 29 looked at Wen Yu and Chu Ziling with disdain.
Wen Yu scoffed and didn't bother to respond to such foolish questions.
Instead, Chu Ziling replied, "If you're capable, then you go ahead. Stop pretending to be compassionate here!"
"Heh, with the apocalypse upon us, you cold-blooded monsters have gained such strength. This world is really unfair!"
"This power of mine is earned through my own hard work; that's what fair means! Do I need you to teach me how to handle things? And besides, with that skin you're wearing, you're not in a position to educate me! What a waste of those clothes!"

Wen Yu stood a distance away, observing the increasingly heated argument between Chu Ziling and Sequence 29. However, neither seemed inclined to take action, and he couldn't help but shake his head.
They were bickering like this—truly idle.
Wen Yu decided to ignore their childish debate over right and wrong and directly walked toward the nearby corpse.
He picked up an e-level steel knife from the dead body and found a shady spot to sit cross-legged and rest his mind.

Before Wen Yu could finish the word "join," a loud bang attracted everyone's attention!
The sound came from the nearby woods.
