Supplementary Chapter~~ Thanks to all the book friends who have tipped recently. I won't mention names, but Old Phantom remembers them all. Thank you, everyone!
A surge of heat was rising within his body, and the sensation was far from pleasant.
Compared to learning a single profession on its own, the process of merging several professions into a brand new one was rather uncomfortable.
Yet, in a moment of explosive release, Ye Zhongming felt every muscle in his body tighten, and the discomfort vanished, replaced by an intense pleasure akin to an eruption.
Ye Zhongming knew that the fusion was complete.
He could hardly wait to examine his new profession. Just a glance filled him with an urge akin to inhaling backwards.
Indeed, it was a premium profession!
Premium, Myriad-Bodied Blade Sage (plain)!
Previously, Ye Zhongming had just learned three new professions: Cicada Flower Cultivator, Brilliant Blade Master, and Spirit Nurturing Madman. Among the sixty-eight scrolls he had obtained, these three were the primary professions he considered to be of good quality and in line with his characteristics.
The Cicada Flower Cultivator was a body cultivation technique that could sharpen and solidify every part of the body like a weapon while also granting some psychic abilities. Its skills, such as Subtle Cicada, Body as Weapon, and Suppressing True Fist, were all powerful, making it a rare profession that balanced offense and defense.
On the other hand, the Brilliant Blade Master was a purely offensive profession. Skills like Buddhist Killing, Spinning Sharp Arm Piercing, Bloody Ejection, and Soul Explosion were all lethal damage techniques that complemented the body cultivation of the Cicada Flower Cultivator perfectly. Together, Ye Zhongming found them to be a fitting combination.
As for the Spirit Nurturing Madman, this profession was one Ye Zhongming had learned out of curiosity since he had never heard of it in his previous life. According to its description, it was a profession capable of nurturing weapons using mental energy; the longer the nurturing time and the more mental energy expended, the greater the weapon's power would be. This profession had some truly remarkable abilities, though few, such as 'Soul Nurturing', 'Soul Growth', and 'Soul Transformation', all exhibited impressive and astonishing effects that left Ye Zhongming eager to try.
With these three professions, along with the Radiant Seal Blade Master and Celestial Dragon Body Cultivator, Ye Zhongming had gathered enough of the same type of professions—five in total—to merge them into a brand new profession: Myriad-Bodied Blade Sage.
With the prefix 'Myriad' and the additional designation of 'premium,' it was clear that this profession was entirely different from those of ordinary people.
Ye Zhongming couldn't wait to unleash his abilities, and even he was surprised.
Currently, as a Myriad-Bodied Blade Sage, he surprisingly possessed four professional skills!
Of these, two were passive and two were active.
One of the passive skills was—Weapon Nurturing.
This skill should have been contributed by the Spirit Nurturing Madman profession. Its ability was to create a nurturing space using mental energy. Weapons needed by the profession could be placed inside this space, and the practitioner could use mental energy, physical strength, and life force to nurture them, thereby enhancing the weapons' attributes, capabilities, and even upgrading their levels.
This could be considered a passive professional skill that allowed Ye Zhongming to possess another Treasure-Holding Gourd.
However, there were many restrictions on this weapon nurturing; it wouldn't be like the Treasure-Holding Gourd that could instantly upgrade as long as there was enough energy. This skill was, in short, about slow and meticulous work, nurturing weapons to gradually enhance their properties.
At the same time, the number of weapons that could be nurtured would depend on the practitioner's overall condition—mental energy, physical strength, and other aspects—but it couldn't exceed three at most.
