Chapter Two-in-One
When Ye Zhongming and Mu Xinfey came out, Anman was still in the tent, angry, but he agreed to Ye Zhongming's conditions.
Before coming here, Anman had already discussed with Zhao Jingcheng, Zhang Hengzhou, and others about launching a counterattack against Cloud Summit Villa to avenge the humiliation in the arena.
Pushing Cloud Summit out as cannon fodder was the simplest and most direct method.
They were unexpected latecomers; even if they all died, the remaining people could still encircle the iron giant.
Because they also had trump cards…
Guangyao lowered his head and thought for a moment, then nodded to the others in the tent, “I’ll go with them.”
After saying that, he chased after Ye Zhongming, Mu Xinfey, and the others.
Inside the tent, Anman had a wooden expression, seemingly lost in thought.
“Commander An, these conditions seem a bit harsh,” said Zhao Zhicai, Zhao Jingcheng's father and the true power holder of the signal flag. He hadn’t spoken earlier, leaving everything to Anman to decide, but he actually had a different opinion in his heart.
In his view, this decision was very rash.
Without killing the iron giant to gain everything, killing it for eighty percent? Only allowing others to attack the iron giant's feet?
Doesn't that mean the group from Cloud Summit Villa could just go up and hit a few times, take some benefits, and then retreat? After that, all the benefits would belong to them, while the others would have run for nothing?
As for killing the iron giant, Zhao Zhicai never thought that Cloud Summit Villa combined with Area S could achieve it. Even with Guangyao's war department added, it still wouldn’t work; ultimately, they would still need everyone’s cooperation.
“Yeah, Commander An, you should ask for our opinions,” said one of the people from Area G. They were usually rebellious, and if it weren’t for Zhang Hengtai reminding them to focus on Area C before coming out, they would have opposed it just now.
Zhang Hengzhou’s status was far less than that of Anman, being his direct superior’s superior. Although he disagreed in his heart, he didn’t dare to say anything on the surface.
Suddenly, Anman laughed.
“If we don’t agree to him, will he obediently go up front?” Anman said with a cold smile, “As long as we kill the iron giant, some matters will be beyond his control.”
The others looked at each other, various thoughts in their minds, but no one spoke.
Having walked a bit far, Mu Xinfey’s expression suddenly collapsed. She glanced sideways at Ye Zhongming and said somewhat unhappily, “Hey! You’re not a reckless person like what Shishi said, so why are you willing to play the fool today?”
Despite showing toughness in front of Anman, Mu Xinfey did not oppose Ye Zhongming when he spoke, but that didn’t mean that the Murderous Rose truly agreed with what Ye Zhongming said.
She seriously lacked confidence in defeating the iron giant with so few people.
Even if they did win, Mu Xinfey felt that the losses would be heavy, and in the end, it would likely be not worth it.
Guangyao, who was following behind, firmly stood with Ye Zhongming, but deep down felt uncertain as well, thinking Ye Zhongming was too reckless.
Ye Zhongming squinted his eyes and looked at the slowly yet firmly advancing back of the iron lock prisoner, thinking about the rumors he had heard in his previous life. He didn’t know the truth of those rumors, but they were worth a try.
“If you were to kill it, what would you do?”
Ye Zhongming suddenly turned to ask the former killer, Mu Xinfey.
“Me?” Mu Xinfey shrugged, “Use humans as cannon fodder.”
Ye Zhongming didn’t speak again, but focused his gaze back on the iron lock prisoner, specifically on the black pattern on its right neck that matched the other tattoos on its body.

“Commander-in-Chief…”
The voice of the aide was trembling; since entering the resistance zone, he had never encountered such a situation.
