No matter where the life forms came from, they all saw the enormous shadow slowly rising from the center of Linhai at the first moment.
In that moment, all life felt an indescribable shock.
Although in the world of the roulette, strength is not measured by size, and this is not a customary standard, large evolved beings often signify trouble and difficulty to deal with.
Except for a few "dumb giants," most of these types of beings are quite formidable.
When such a gigantic presence turns into something especially enormous, it is almost certain that this is a being with a very high level of evolution and tremendous power, without exception!
Just like the Heavenly Tree from the previous life, which was so massive that its canopy covered the entire city, just one glance from afar would leave one in awe. It existed in its own world, and even a nine-star evolver would not dare to provoke it.
The Yama Tree that emerged from the underground is no different.
On its massive trunk, the wildly swaying Death Vines grow on the thick branches. The softer parts of the branches are the branch forks, while the harder parts are the main trunk.
For the Yama Tree, the Death Vines resemble long strands of hair, but for humans, these strands are enough to make one hesitate.
In addition to the Death Vines growing on the main trunk, there are many more of these plants that have developed their own root systems, allowing them to move freely through the land at incredible speeds, penetrating and emerging from various corners of Linhai, slaughtering all life they encounter and absorbing energy.
This energy is transmitted back to the terrifying entity through the roots connected to the Yama Tree, accelerating its evolution speed.
At the same time, large shadows of dried corpses began to appear all over Linhai, marching in unison toward a single direction.
The zombie horde entering from the side of Linhai was the first to encounter a group of dried corpses, as there happened to be a nest of dried corpses there. The dried corpses swarmed out and coincidentally collided with their former kin.
As the boss of this horde, the sword armor zombie had faced many opponents: humans, fellow zombies, monsters, and other mutated beings.
But it had never encountered such withered, yet so similar-looking beings. Now that it had gained some intelligence, it could sense the differences between these entities and itself, although it couldn't quite articulate what those differences were.
However, for the zombie horde, there is one principle that must be followed.
When two parties meet, even if both are zombies, they must either join the horde and become subordinate to the sword armor or fight to the death until one side is entirely eliminated.
As for those who are not kin... they won't even have the first option; a confrontation means battle!
Thus, the sword armor ordered its subordinates to attack.
What does it look like when hundreds of thousands of zombies charge together? Those who have never seen it donβt know, but those who have... most of them are likely dead by now.
These dried corpses are still numerous, with at least over five thousand. On usual days, they could dominate Linhai City, and no one would dare provoke them.
But now, they have met their match.
The dried corpses have little consciousness, and in a fight, they are fearless of death, but the zombies share the same fearlessness toward death.
The dried corpses, due to their sheer number, completely dominate Linhai. However, this group of zombies is even more numerous and has come from the outside, completely dismissing the dried corpses' claim to dominance.
Furthermore, compared to the somewhat monotonous combat style of the dried corpses, the zombies' abilities are far more diverse and powerful.
As the two groups clashed, the zombie horde only paused for a second before overwhelming the dried corpses.
The battle lasted less than two minutes, and as the leader, the sword armor didnβt even lift a finger.
