Xiao Peng's current state was not very good.

But to avoid revealing his master, Black Revenge had to move slowly, staying close to the ground, which made things painfully difficult for Xiao Peng. Even though he was an evolver, the increasingly sparse air was torturous.
It was easier when moving, as some air would seep in through the gaps. But once the surrounding sea beasts came to a halt, Black Revenge also had to stop to avoid being detected. This forced Xiao Peng into a 'turtle breath' state, trying to minimize his breathing.
After enduring for what felt like an eternity, he thought the worst was over when the sea beast tide resumed its assault on the city. However, the area he was in was commanded by a powerful sea beast to retreat.

So, Xiao Peng took the risk to have Black Revenge turn back.

The appearance of a human in the sea beast tide instantly incited the anger of the sea beasts, who began to chase after Xiao Peng. Driven to the top of a dilapidated building, he realized he had reached a dead end and immediately released a distress signal flare he had acquired earlier.

With a loud bang, the entire building shook violently. A section of the eastern side collapsed, and the massive body of the sixth-level mutated sea turtle crashed down below. After realizing that it couldn’t reach the rooftop due to its size, it began to ram the building.
It was qualified and powerful enough to bring down this already ravaged structure with just four or five hits.
Just when Xiao Peng was sinking into despair, he noticed two figures rapidly approaching.
He couldn’t describe the feeling he had when he saw Ye Zhongming and Xia Bai; he experienced a sense of survival after a disaster for the first time.
Then, he witnessed for the first time the true power of Ye Zhongming.
The sixth-level mutated sea turtle, which had left him helpless and waiting for death, was swiftly killed by Ye Zhongming and Xia Bai. The group of hundreds of sea beasts that followed behind them was completely annihilated by a few small, unknown flying mutated beings.
