The entire Cloud Port was in chaos, but compared to the turmoil at the center—the Inner City—the outer chaos was quite different.

Outside, it was more about the upheaval among the survivors living in Cloud Port after the heavenly phenomenon war department passed through.

This battle team entered the Inner City, and it seemed... the gates of the Inner City had opened!

Theft, robbery, rape, murder...
Any act that could yield benefits was being played out in various ways, without regard to good or bad—only the outcome mattered.
At this moment, humanity's basest instincts were laid bare.
Xiao Peng was hiding in a corner of a room, next to a large bag filled with materials purchased for Ye Zhongming. After settling down in the Inner City with that bag of magic crystals, he hadn’t bought what the man needed from the market because he understood the area and knew that it was cheaper to gather scattered supplies outside the Inner City than to buy them directly in the market.

The sea beasts were coming, and they were close!

At first, he was still carrying the bag of materials, but as he ran, he had to abandon it because his tier 3 mutated sea star battle beast, Black Revenge, couldn't move too quickly. He could only carry it while running. If he also carried a heavy bag of materials, it would severely hinder his speed.
