Seeing many people from Cloud Summit being teleported to the spatial battlefield, others from different forces began to take action as well.
However, how could they understand the competition of death roulette as well as Ye Zhongming? They noticed that several people from Cloud Summit remained behind, looking relaxed, and speculated that these individuals must not need to fight. This led them to think that they should also protect some key individuals from participating in the roulette selection.
But many who were deemed unnecessary for this life-and-death battle soon received a notification from the roulette, stating that all lifeforms at level four and above must participate in the selection battle. This almost made the leaders of the zero commerce association and the radiant world army furious.
People from Cloud Summit Villa, such as Lu Yi, Liu Zhenghong, and Le Da Yuan, were all four-star evolvers, so why were they exempt from the battle? Why did they have to fight?
Yet, the roulette didn’t explain the exemptions for activators, so they naturally received no answers. Faced with the choice between elimination or combat, they could only make the one decision available to them.
“Choose white, the easiest option. Who has spare gear to give them?”
These major forces didn’t want the combat participants to be the auxiliary-type professions, like the one who had teleported several five-star evolvers to the city wall, or others who provided buffs. Although these individuals might seem weak in combat, their roles as support beside powerful fighters were invaluable, making each of them a precious asset.
While these forces wouldn’t treat practitioners like Park Soo-young as the top resource holders as Cloud Summit did, they certainly held the second position. If anything happened to them, the losses would be immense.
Just imagine what Cloud Summit would be like without Park Soo-young; the loss was unimaginable. For the safety of these individuals, other forces allowed them to choose the lowest difficulty option and provided considerable gear assistance.
What they didn’t know was that when these individuals chose the lowest difficulty on the first step, an invisible noose had already settled around their necks, ready to tighten at the right moment.

Ye Zhongming naturally chose the highest difficulty, the red option, even though he was only a ‘four-star’ evolver.
Although he seemed calm on the surface, he finally felt a weight lift from his heart.
Because the roulette could not identify the strength gained from secret techniques!
This meant that the path Ye Zhongming had taken before was correct. He might still be far from escaping the roulette, but he truly possessed a sliver of capability to counter it.
Even if the final path was the same, being manipulated versus having the freedom to choose were two entirely different feelings.
In the arena, a humanoid lifeform clad in black heavy armor appeared, wielding a massive sword.
After observing it for a moment, Ye Zhongming realized this was an undead lifeform, simply wrapped in thick armor, making it challenging to recognize at first.
Its exposed eyes were blood-red, and upon seeing Ye Zhongming, it charged at him wielding the giant sword.
Standing three meters tall, with immense heavy armor and a sword as thick as a dining table, each aspect of it exuded tremendous pressure. Ye Zhongming noted that the bone color protruding from the edge of the helmet was actually red bone.
A creature with such colored bones was essentially equivalent to a sixth-level mutated life. Coupled with Little Tiger’s previous encounter being sixth-level, it seemed that luck was not on their side.
Earlier, Ye Zhongming had seen several subordinates face opponents about one and a half levels higher after choosing the red difficulty. After consuming Evolution Potions, they generally appeared half a level higher or on par. Although there were instances of facing opponents two levels higher, they were rare.
