Ye Zhongming recognized the light pink liquid in the bottle; it was the Immunity Potion, or rather, the Incomplete Immunity Potion.
After taking this potion, the virus from ordinary zombies would no longer infect humans. However, it could not provide immunity against the virus from evolved zombies, and if luck was not on their side, an excessive amount of virus entering the body in a short time could also lead to losing the immune effect.
In the second level and above of the roulette, there existed a completely pink liquid, which was the Complete Immunity Elixir.
This item was very valuable early in the apocalypse, and for many years afterward, it remained one of the essential supplies.
What truly caught Ye Zhongming's attention were two pieces of equipment on the roulette: the metal shield and the emerald green necklace.
Especially the latter, as it radiated a faint white light on the roulette graphic, making it look exquisite.
Was the ordinary white equipment?
Wasn’t it at the same level as a machete?
Owning a white-level weapon was a result of Ye Zhongming's profession as a glorious artisan. Within just a few hours after the apocalypse began, having such a weapon, while not unique, was definitely rare.
Ye Zhongming had expended quite a bit of mental energy to acquire such a weapon.
Now, to see another piece of white equipment before him, how could he not be intrigued?
Compared to the emerald green necklace, the shield seemed a bit inferior; it appeared to be at most a gray level.
Taking out all the magic crystals he had on him, along with a few scattered ones from the roulette, Ye Zhongming counted them up. It was only enough for two spins, but there were at least four items he wanted on the roulette, so it was clear he didn't have enough magic crystals; it seems he would have to wait until later.
With the energy, the roulette began to spin, the large pointer gliding evenly across the ten sections. After using the basic exclusion technique to eliminate one option, the pointer slowly stopped on the cable rope.
Ye Zhongming didn’t even blink and proceeded to the second spin.
That's just how the roulette worked; it was all about luck. With good fortune, one could get the best item in a single spin. With bad luck, even spinning dozens of times might yield nothing desired.
The roulette started again, and moments later, the metal shield dropped out of the item box.
Naturally, the emerald green necklace was the best reward on the roulette, followed by the One-Star Evolution Elixir and the Incomplete Immunity Potion; this shield would be considered the fourth best.
Getting this on just two spins left Ye Zhongming quite satisfied.
The shield was gray-black, an arm shield, about the size of an ordinary ceramic plate. Upon closer inspection, he could see the gray luster on the shield face, confirming it as a standard gray-level piece of equipment.
He knocked on it; with Ye Zhongming's experience, the defensive power was decent. At least this shield should be able to withstand the iron arms of second-level zombies and the tongue of a blood tongue lizard.
Putting the arm shield on his left arm, Ye Zhongming walked to the window to look out. With the dawn rising on the horizon, he noticed the earlier commotion in the campus had gradually subsided. Small groups of zombies were gathered in several places, scavenging on corpses, while others had dispersed aimlessly in search of food.
Returning to the small window he came in through, Ye Zhongming lowered the cable rope and waved at the three women, signaling them to come up. As for the earth yellow pills, he decided to leave them downstairs to keep watch.
The three women climbed up one after the other. Mo Ye, the armed police, had no problems at all; this height was nothing for her. Ye Zhongming was surprised by Liang Chuyin, whose disheveled appearance couldn’t hide her enchanting charm; she surprisingly showed decent strength, managing to climb up smoothly, albeit not as effortlessly as Mo Ye.
